How long should be the Amnesia leader ?

It depends on how long you are casting. More is better!! Once you do it once, you will get a feel for it and realize exactly how much you need for your setup. I load mine up pretty good though.

@@andrewjerome2157 how much fly line are you running to be able to spool up a roll of amnesia? He had said in the video a whole spool. I currently run backing up to Orvis nymph line to my leader. It pretty much fills the 3wt reel up.

You could get away with 20lb but in my opinion the thickest you really wanna go is 15lb. If it’s all you have use it!

@@mikestrate1468 if that’s what you have it doesn’t hurt to start with it and see how it is. We’d recommend working your way lighter and to less stiff and thick products, but always recommend learning through testing!
