Ford has completely changed England rugby he's consistently takin the ball to the line and challenging the defence which me and there is more gaps for the runners to attack , quality no. 10!

As a tigers fan, when we let him go I wasn’t that bothered thinking we’d sign Freddie burns and he’d just take the mantle as the usual England fly half that tigers have had in the past (arrogant tigers mentality). Fuck me did bath nurture his talents and make him into a hell of a player. Literally saved us from relegation (golden boot in arguably the worst team last year). Shows in this video how he became the player he is at bath.

Jones is having an almighty tug if he thinks this guy can eclipse Barrett.

Adam S Taylor Jones is trying to boost his confidence as Ford is a confidence player. In my opinion it's excellent coaching

Pie Kid by all means encourage players to be better sure, but Jones lacks tact in his remarks at times and it seems some are made in spite..

donkey Barrett. dont look so good with a defence on him

We don't think he is a super hero but we do think he is good (hence why he is 10 of the second best side in the world) but a lot of you guys in nz just cant admit when a player in actually good, you think only players from nz are good, why not just open your mind up for a bit and enjoy the sport for the beauty of it and stop being overly competitive

And Jones thinks this guy can be better than Barrett? Lol
@19woody997 жыл бұрын
Barrett is an exceptional player however if you think about him and imagine if he had no pace, many people would say that some of his skill set is limited whereas if george ford had pace he would be better than Barett in my opinion. George is more of a technical player and holds his own in defence despite being so small
@benjenden30327 жыл бұрын
Wierd223 in no way is Barrett's skill set limited and it's evident to any rugby fan that ford is a liability in defence. Might need to do your research😂
@19woody997 жыл бұрын
Benjamino Jenden ford has been pretty solid for england so far as a small guy goes and im just saying that his passing skills, in my opinion, are better than barrett and i would rather play on a team with ford as i believe he can provide more try assisting passes than barrett. thats just me
@Youre7 жыл бұрын
Wierd223 I actually agree with you on your first point. Ford's all round skill set, especially passing, is probs better than Barretts. It's true that if he had Barretts speed he may be the better player, but he doesn't, and Barrett's speed makes him such a weapon. It gives him x-factor which can create something out of nothing for himself and those around him. For that reason I'd much rather have Barrett on my team.
@saulfitzpatrick97847 жыл бұрын
Wierd223 I don't necessarily agree because Barrett passing isn't necessarily worse because the way New Zealand play Barrett doesn't half to throw any of those long lovely looking passes , New Zealand is all about agility pace and power and they all have an amazing skill set

In defence he is a bit weak. With go forward ball in attack he is really good but if they have slow ball or are going backwards he is absolutely useless.
@chrisbygraves64037 жыл бұрын
Typical coaches son. Lots of professional coaching and is still rubbish. Maybe the little boy should learn how to tackle and pass the ball in front of the attacking runner.
@joesmith8317 жыл бұрын
the thing is, if you actually watch Ford, does know how to tackle and how to pass. he's small, which means he gets targeted, but if u look at him he does a great job of holding up the opposing player and allowing the forwards to get in the mix. his passing is brilliant - watch england vs scotland for a recent example. ur either trolling or dont know shit about rugby
@mykeday5 жыл бұрын
Most of this video is him kicking it, and then him watching where he kicked it rather than any form of kick chase and set up an attack. He just plays boring and predictable. Which sadly sums up how England want to play. We won't be winning the world cup this year.
@Danimal137 жыл бұрын
Ford is terrible and I'm English all he does is shift the ball and let's the centres create, he offers no attacking threat so defenders drift without a worry and his kicks are a dream for a 15 far too deep for any chaser to get near and don't even get me started on his defence but if he works on all of that he would be a good player lol

He is in the side because of his open play kicking and his play making vision in attack. Also with you logic in this comment you are saying the man you runs it over the line is more important then the player who made that possible, you sound like a football player.

@shawnhawes24906 жыл бұрын
Elton janjies is way better. This guy cnt attack or defend. Or break the line. Can only distribute. Loll ways so impressive about that. Tactical kicking only works wen play favours him. Other then that. Its poor
@adamchallis2497 жыл бұрын
Worst player ever to wear an England shirt, his selection continuously baffles me.
@James-sw9vm7 жыл бұрын
Really? That's a bit harsh! Although I do feel perhaps we have better options at the moment. Freddy Burns and Danny Cipriani have been immense this season especially.
@dbjmk80837 жыл бұрын
Are you dumb? England's new ability to score tries and win games is entirely based around George Ford.
@adamchallis2497 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree that Burns deserves a call up. But I think Ford is so limited in his running, passing, kicking, and his defence is literally non-existent. England's ability to score tries comes from a dominant and efficient pack and quick ball, we'd be scoring the tries irrespective of Ford being on the pitch, if not more.
@soundscapemusic89807 жыл бұрын
I understand if you don't like him starting at 10 but worst player to wear the shirt? You only have to look to 2012 to see some serious competition haha: Mouritz Botha, Tom Johnson amongst others under Lancaster

***** Look at the highlights to England's unbeaten year, it will be evident very quickly how good a flyhalf George Ford is.
