Andy makes you wanna learn but pack in at the same time, he is on a different scale than anyone I've ever seen or heard in my life,,,,, this proves the ukulele is the easiest instrument to learn, but the HARDEST to play good... AMAZING ANDY EASTWOOD

excellent, as always. I can get my right hand doing the Formby strum but can’t for the life of me sync my left hand up with it.

What a joy to behold. Even though I can see you doing it it still looks impossible.

This is the best thing I ever heard, and the technique! Wish I could play like that

I absolutely love that style of playing but it sure is hard to master, great job for sure 👍🏆.

I suppose anything is hard to master but to get good not nearly as hard as you might think. A few months of diligent practice for a total greenhorn. Maybe a couple weeks for an advanced guitarist.

Geeze, the way you strum looks like it's the easiest thing in the world. I think it must be the way I was taught to play and the slight way I hold my hand; You seem to hold your whole hand completely loose and tense up only the split second it's required when you hit the string, whereas if you watch my videos, my hand is pretty much tensed up for the strings. Not tense to the point it's going to sound like a brash mess, but tense as in so that the strings give decent volume. Great playing, I think I'll always be jealous of your playing ability. Also, on the practice piece at the end, did you just do the opening again at the end? I couldn't tell so good because of the camera angle, but it sounded the same. :)

Yeah I try to keep everything loose, glide over the strings rather than 'hitting' them. That ending was just tagged on as a finish - as on the record it goes back to another vocal bit! A7 A#dim Em A7 D. (D tuning!) Yes it did match the opening quite well, not that it was planned - just an off the cuff quickie. It looked ok on the phone but actually it's a bit fuzzy, never mind, the sound's ok.... :-D

:D Yup, the sound is pretty decent! I'll always be in awe of how easy you make it look. Maybe you'll have to give me some 1-on-1 tutoring next time you're up in Blackpool!
