The funny thing about this episode I didn't remember is pastor Jeff being against nudity but humans only made clothes after Satan gave them the fruit. God made them naked but when they ate the fruit they became aware of their nudity so Satan is the one who hates nudes

It’s sad that no one seems to have the sense to tell Mandy’s mum, “Your daughter is an adult. You cannot tell her what to do!”
@AshleysAdvice
@AshleysAdvice 11 ай бұрын
Also how come nobody ever points this out, but not only is Mandy and adult but she's like what 29, most 29-year-old do already have children so like she's almost 30 and her parents are still treating her like a child and I'm mad at her for having a child, I get that they're more mad that she's having a child with a 17-year-old, But given her age is it really that shocking that she's having a baby and I'm surprised she hasn't already had one you know like I know nowadays people have kids later in life but like back in the older days like around the 80s and 90s even, people were having kids relatively young so the way her mum reacts this just never quite made sense to me given that like she is nearly 30 andshe hasn't had any children yet, they should just be grateful to have a child like if anything and I with them again I know that people in Texas are super religious and whatever, but they should just be happy she's having a child and yeah they can be angry that he's 17 and like tell her to raise the baby by herself or you know but they should still be happy about having the child if that makes sense, again this is just my opinion but I'm just confused that like nobody pointed that out.

Fun fact but this is the first time we get to see Georgie love of tyres, as we know in The Big Bang Theory he owns a tire shop or works at a tyre shop I can't remember which, but this is where it first comes up I think he does work for Mandy's dad, so that's interesting just a cool little Easter egg, I don't know if you picked up on it or not so I just thought I'd mention it

Pastor Rob is kind of perfectly cast. As a character he's not technically done anything BAD. The worst you can really say is that he and Mary did have something of an emotional affair. But there is just something about him that makes you not like him.

@10:29 I love how he doesn't even need to think about it, the moment Sheldon walked out the door he had a game plan. Lmao. Also for a child prodigy Sheldon can do some truly dumb things, like leave a virtual stranger who likes comic books alone in a comic book store unsupervised. @16:40 well technically Adam and Eve made clothing to cover up their nudity after eating the fruit that God told em not to, so by his design folks should be comfortable with seeing each other naked and not getting super creepy or perverted about it. By placing the stigma on those adult movies, their actually contradicting their point. Which works fine, cuz turns out that they're a bunch of hypocrites .

Okay, a bit controversial, but why on earth does Mandy's mum care that her 29-year-old daughter is throwing her life away by having a baby, I can understand everyone in this situation being mad at Georgie 17-year-old knocking up a 29-year-old, but that doesn't feel like what Mandy's mum is mad about, she constantly keeps talking about the fact that Mandy is throwing her life away and that they wanted better for her going to a good university and getting out of this town, but she probably graduated university at least like four years ago given that she's 29 almost 30, again times were different back then to how they are now, It's also different from the real olden days where people had kids really really young, but still at 29 I would expect her to already have a husband and a baby given this religious town, so I feel like her mum has no leg to stand on here, you can be mad at her for Getting pregnant by a 17-year-old but she's a grown ass woman who can make her own decisions and it's not all Georgie's fault, yes he lied to her about his age but that's really as far as it goes in terms of all of this, again I'm not super religious so maybe I'm missing something and I know this is a super religious town, but couldn't she just Have the baby then a few years later find someone else with a good job to settle down with and it wouldn't make that big deal like they don't want her marrying a 17-year-old because yeah that makes sense, I understand that having kids out of wedlock wasn't okay especially since this town seems to be super religious, but still Her having a baby shouldn't be the problem, her having a baby with a 17-year-old should be, I don't know if what I'm saying is making sense, but I genuinely believe there has been a writing mistake with this whole entire story, I could be wrong, but remember back in season two I think it was, when Georgie almost got that girl his own age pregnant, it feels like they were going for a similar story here where he was supposed to either impregnate someone his own age or someone a little bit older who was in the college or university maybe 21 at the oldest which would make total sense why her mum would be pissed off at her because yeah in that scenario she would be kind of throwing her life away and all the hard work of her going to university and all of that like that entire story line I could completely understand and like where her mum is coming from if she was 21 almost graduating from university and accidentally got knocked up by a 17-year-old and now she can't leave and have a better life, but she's 29 she would've graduated at least four years ago, yes she is a single woman who was dating around a bit before Georgie knocked her up, but I'm still really confused on why people care so much. Not to mention Georgie having that conversation with Connie, that entire conversation should not even be here it doesn't apply at all, because when George knocked up Mary they were were both teenagers, like when Mary got pregnant and had to get married she was the same age as George and they were still in high school, that's why it had such a big affect and that's why it mattered so much and that's why Connie was so mad about it here the only thing they could be mad about is the age gap that's it that's the only thing they should be mad about the rest of it should not apply at all because she is 29 years old she is a grown ass woman who had sex with a minor and got pregnant, suicide from either aborting the baby, having it anyway and raising it by herself with the help of her family until she meets a better person or raising it with Georgie and possibly marrying him or like her only real options and well I can understand them not wanting her to marry Georgie because he's 17 and again I understand the whole religious aspect of it but her parents don't want her to marry him and she doesn't want to marry him so there should be no issue here aside from the religious aspect which again should not really apply given her age nobody should be warning her to have the baby everyone should be telling her to abort it so I am so confused and again I know abortion is like a big thing but just purely in the context of this storyline, none of it makes sense to me unless she is supposed to be in college, especially given the things that her mum says in this episode, like why on earth does she care about her grown ass daughter who is almost fatty having a baby, having a baby out of wedlock sure having a baby with a 17-year-old shore but having a baby in general Nana, again given this town and given the fact that it's the early 90s which at this point in time people were having kids much earlier than they do now, not quite as early as back in the real olden days but again this is a pretty religious town so who knows, but like I said the whole thing just reeks of being a altered storyline that got changed for some reason, I don't know why they made her 29 I feel like that's kind of a mistake given everything else we know that happens in the context of the storyline especially the stuff with Connie and Georgie and that conversation about Mary and George as well as everything Mandy's mum says it feels like she's talking to a girl who just got out of college not a girl who graduated years ago and could've left at any point in time if she'd wanted to, again Mandy's parents still live in this town as well so it feels very hypocritical for her mum to say that, like yeah maybe she wanted her to leave the town but Mandy can make her own mind up and if she decided to stay then she decided to say why does that matter, again if I am missing something please let me know because I'm not religious and I'm from New Zealand so I don't know about America, but it feels like this whole thing is just really messed up and that her mum clearly has some issues, because if you're going to read this as being a proper storyline that they didn't change and make mistakes with, which again I do believe she was supposed to be in college given everything that we know about it, so again that would make way more sense and make the storyline make more sense and it wouldn't be so jarring to watch, but given that that's not the case at least an hour eyes, her mum should not care and unless her mum is got some serious issues regarding letting her daughter go and like her growing up like her mum clearly has attachment issues that she's not dealing with because that's the only logical conclusion I can come to based on the story we do have, again the way everyone else is acting especially like Mary given her religious beliefs and everything this woman is 29 so I think all the grown-ups in this need to take a hard look at themselves and ask themselves what the real issue is, because it's not that she's having a baby it's that she's having a baby with a 17-year-old, again this is just my opinion and I'm not religious and I don't live in America, but something has gone wrong here whether the story got muddled up and they changed it to a 29-year-old for some reason at the last minute or they didn't think it through properly because again it really genuinely feels like she's supposed to be in college especially based on what her mum says unless we are going with the whole idea that her mum has serious attachment issues, that is my new head canon because I can't see it any other way, but let me know if I'm missing something this is just my opinion.

Its ironic that Pastor Jeff knows so little about he bible, they're against dancing which I said in a previous video it states multiple times in the bible about dancing. In this one he said yeah God made private parts and then he made something to cover them up which is a load of crap. He made people naked intended for them to stay naked, and only after Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge did they cover themselves up and God was angered because he realized they ate from the tree. If anyhing that kind of shows God wants everyone to be naked. The way they all have treated the Cooper's too, multiple times it says about how everyone is sinners its not your job to point out others faults.
