Omg the woman with the white dress and gold jingles, I just found her on Instagram recently this year and her foot work is so flawless to me I already look up to her. To see her noticed on somebody else's channel, the confidence she displays makes me so proud. She looks like ice and performs like snow. I hope she can let her guard down and become a humble leader who can teach little girls someday. She has so much potential.

@SalznPfeffer6585 жыл бұрын
if you're truly half Cherokee then no one has the right to withhold your birthright to your tribe. Look further into that side of the family - find a friend/family member who knows your name, your mother's birth connections & go from there. Hold firm in the belief that no blood quantum nor family feud can determine your tribal worth & birthright. If your soul sings with the music & you feel at home - let no one shame you into feeling less than what your spirit is. The tribe is a collective, you'll find acceptance in it once you accept that side of you. kia kaha, stand strong. 😉

Question: The feathers in their hand. May I ask what is the story behind it?
@peiganpowwowproductions7902 жыл бұрын
Hello Mikey... In it's origin, the Jingle Dress is a healing dance. Healing is linked to prayer between the dancer and Creator. First Nation people say the prayers are carried by the Eagle 🦅 to the Creator. The Eagle fan therefore has significance in that regard. When the drum song comes to the honor beats, the Jingle Dress dancer raises her Eagle fan in honor of the Creator. Lots more, but I'm trying to keep summary short. Beliefs and practices and ceremony differ with each tribe.
