It's hard to believe that next month it will be 22 years since you've flown from this place. The world has not been the same since. You live on in your brilliance and ALL of your unspoken words. You were just magic, and I miss you. Sorry you left so soon.................

It's very ironic (and perhaps a little funny) how George happened to pass away only two months after 9 11. To be sure, I'm NOT cracking a joke about 9 11; that's one of the few things that I would never joke about.

It's December 2023. I'm old enough to have watched The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show and fall in love with them. All through the decades, their music has been with me. But today, listening to these songs and remembering... Somehow I feel I'm coming full circle. It's mysterious and magical and full of emotion. Life is strange. Thank you George.

The music Boomers listened to. I always fought for unions, the working class and felt guided by the Beatles and their message that they were telling us in these incredible songs. We were very blessed to have had the Beatles sending their spiritual message of Peace and Love towards other human beings. I can speak for myself, think for myself and felt inspired having the Beatles putting out great works. I saw George play in Chicago Stadium during his Dark Horse tour. With Ravi Shakar and sunshine it was the greatest performance that I had seen.

Isn't a Pity, Georges profound words about the pain that grew amongst the four Beatles, a band that should have been able to care for each other(all you need is love?!) and last the test of time together. In my opinion, for what it's worth, this is the best album by an individual Beatle. Wish you were here George to read this!

'Wah wah' was his shot at the band too- "you're giving me your wah wah" I think George-as much as he loved them had just had it with John and Paul's prima donna shite by the recording sessions for Let it be- actually being the 1st to quit(but coming back thank God) and seeing his smile on the rooftop performance was pure joy of playing with these incredible players. And even though he felt John gave him little due him he ends up recording with John (and later Ringo). He was an even more complex man than John and was a sharp quick wit in his own right. I've seen a slew of bootleg videos of throw away takes from a number of sessions from magical mystery tour on and when the 3 would lay down harmony overdubs it was - surprise ,,, George that was assigning parts with John constantly saying he couldn't pick out his part-so much for the vaunted Paul pushing him around! Thats talent on another level when you think about the complexity of their harmonies-anr it was just the 3 voices-ringo didn't figure in on most harmony parts. My favorite Beatle was always John until this album and I realized how much this man had in him. Think of all his albums that you could listen to all the songs- Paul and John,,,not so much in my estimation. But that's just my 'wah wah! RIP georgie boy

Just think! You could have been listening to this album for several years! I do the same thing. Like with Led Zeppelin. I listened to them then but not with the appreciation I do now, along with a few other bands. I recommend, if you like Deep Purple, listen to the "Deep Purple: Deep Purple album. It was their third album and they had a different singer in their first three albums. After they replaced him I quit listening to the band (mostly). That's their best album.

When we was fab, All Those Years Ago, This song, etc.

I've clicked through so many videos, through so many incredible, weird ambient landscapes... I feel like I'm going on a train trip, seeing a succession of crazy, never-before-seen scenes from history, important, weird musics through the window as I pass... there's so much to explore. So many places to alight and dwell in the ambiences that are on offer. This stop, in particular, is brilliant

My fav Beatle for many reasons. My bother gave me this album for my 13th birthday and it was a wonderful gift. I saw you a few years later at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto with Ravi Shankar and Billy Preston. I had a hot date! And I had lined up overnight with hundreds of people awaiting to buy tix in the morning. It was a fabulous concert. Thanks George.

Harrison, the soft spoken beatle with that seriously spiritual vibe which made him form a deep kinship with lennon. He created this beautiful album of his journey to a higher plane. Besides being a serious exceptional guitarist he was a brilliant speaker of truth, love, and a search of purpose. This album is the masterful creation of that hearts desire to find his moment where his music really mattered. A beautiful legacy in a lifetime of hard work, this is my favorite album of harrison, its brutally honest, hauntingly truthful, and above contained all the answers a spiritual man is searching for. For me, in my grief to find myself after hunan tragedy, it offeres me well needed peace. Thank you george for this amazing album. Xx Flynn Taylor

ERR... Actually.. After EMI films pulled their financing one week before filming was to start on "The Life of Brian" Harrison saved the project by funding ALL of it himself by.. Mortgaging his family home. Good job the film was a success.... Otherwise he would've lost the lot. THAT'S the kind of man he was.

As a young teenager, George inspired me to pick up the guitar.....that was in 1964....I still play his songs and a few years ago my band decided to throw in some Beatles and George Harrison songs including "My Sweet Lord" ...so I went out and bought an expensive Guild 12 string, just for that number...... and it was worth it!!!

The beauty of the spirit in the music of George Harrison can be compared to the one of his good mate Tom Petty.. If you are an (old ;) guitar beginner, then you can probably better perceive the pure sense of musicality in both of them: it's all sooo music-friendly and simply built, but beautiful in the sound and harmony. There's actually bright Light in it. Always thanking them for their songs, Om Shanti to everybody.
