So glad to hear that... I've met and worked with lot of celebrities over the years as a manager for a major photo studio and people are often amazed by the behavior of some people when the cameras are not running... That's why they call it "Show Business". I'm glad to hear George was a decent soul...

George was trying to tell us all something with his song and final recorded album, "Brainwashed" (my favorite George song) The entire LP is great, with many meaningful lyrics, mixed in with some fun tunes. George always had a good message for humanity. Mainly that there's more to just "living" in these earthly bodies, which we shed eventually, so be good to one another. Peace Otis !

Very Very Hard one to call he Wrote Some Smashers ,but one song George wrote that doesn’t get a anywhere near enough praise as it should and it’s in my ( I wish I’d have wrote that list ) is I Live For You off of All Things Must Pass I’ve got it on some Deluxe CD Re issue of the album with bonus tracks, It is one of the most Beautiful songs ever, the peddle steel in that song just Breaks a little bit of you Heart every time I listen to it, it is just Breathtaking. If you haven’t heard it your in for a real treat, He was a bit special was our George 🌞⭐️❤️🌞⭐️❤️🌞⭐️❤️🙏 Bless Him

My favorite as a guitar player is Here Comes the Sun. Wonderfully intricate picking pattern and cool riffs. Tough song to learn, but amazing that all of that came out of George’s mind. How did he do that, right? Great story about how it was written at Eric Clapton’s place. Interesting relationship between Eric and George and Patti. Clapton’s autobiography covers it well and is worth the read.

Always have loved (and miss) George. My favorite is the one we ALL remember, "My Sweet Lord". In terms of the Beatles, it is probably, "Here Comes The Sun" (which I personally think is a better song then "Something". Just because it is such a happy, optimistic song), And his MAGNIFICENT guitar solos in the album version of "Let It Be".

Well I won't say I am surprised, you have had some of the most unique guests and this is one of them. He seems so laid back about the whole thing and honest in his appreciation of George Harrison. It is a story about the life of someone I greatly admire but not a part of him that I had ever heard. I do really enjoy the people you share with us, I have said to lots of people that you have the ability to get these people to tell interesting stories and in just a little bit of time they share a huge amount of information. Lots of other people interviewing people don't seem to know how to get the person to rolling and stay out of the way so they can share their story with us. I hope you are having a ball and enjoying life to the fullest right now. Thanks for taking us along.

I was weaned on this music, I regret the fact that in a way we have lost our way. The message of love and the form of the songs was beautiful , sometimes I think what if the love thing would have caught traction with everyone. But as for George I believe that he lived the life he was influenced by God's love and I think he did love the people of the world. And what more can be said of someone if they were loved and shared love with others much respect George Harrison

Videos like this are truly what makes KZbin great Real stories from real people who really haven’t been heard before My sweet lord isn’t my favorite song but when I started working at a record store I worked with a gentleman who told me that nuns used to come into the store to buy the song and he laughed about it because he realized it was about Hari Krishna not the Christ So it’s extra interesting for me to hear about him moving into an old Nunnery When I found out George was called the quiet one I begin identifying with him and his songs more and more simply because the other two were in the spotlight so much and I was basically an overly shy kid myself In watching the Peter Jackson Disney snippets on KZbin I realize now how much work George Harrison was doing as opposed to John Lennon‘s clowning around In order for George to have all of those songs as soon as the Beatles broke up and to do all those musical projects right away it’s obvious that he had all of that built up within him and it came flowing out when he was allowed the freedom to truly express himself And in doing so he makes us all equally special upon hearing it

I love Beware of Darkness, Let it Down and Isn’t it a Pity. George is just so incredible. It’s my personal opinion that All things Must Pass is the only post-Beatles album to reach the creative level of an actual Beatles release. However, I love all of John and Paul’s solo work, as well.

I agree. A lot of stuff from all things must pass should have been on Beatles albums. But Paul's self indulgent showtunes ended up as filler lol

The fact that George himself said he had enough music to last the Beatles about 10 years is how excellent he is as an artist and a creative mind. To release a triple album with so many classics is testament to him as an artist. I would also argue that McCartney’s RAM equals that creativity, just a shame it was ridiculed when it was released.

I agree with your assume that of All things must pass. The very best solo Beatles album . John was always my favorite growing up but the more I listened to the Beatles work the more George became the guy to me ! It was a special band and only God could have put these 4 guys together who so perfectly complimented each other. Nothing like them will ever happen again !
