This clock was made by my 6th x Great Grandfather Claude Duchesne (Paternal side)( b.France 1660 d.London 1732) . He was a french Hugenot, protestants that fled France in the 16th, 17th, 18th centuries to escape religious persecution. Many arrived in Britain as refugees. Claude Duchesne was one of a handful of highly skilled famous clock makers in France/England. One of his clocks is currently in Blenheim Palace and another in the British museum so I’m told. His son , Claudius Duchesne (b.1697 d.1761] continued the family business and his son in turn....

as iam dutch the label @ 2.44 in this video is about when it was made. i can translate it if you like. says that its made arround 1690. Very nice rare dutch made clock.
