Kotaka is legit (as people say). When he won his second title in Tokyo he was not in his prime anymore, he went against the ods. Besides he his a complete karateca with a traditional background in Shito-ryu, no just a kumite specialist like many these days. He also trains in Gracie jiu-jitsu, that shows how he his dedicated and open minded to other disciplines. I wish he came to my country for a seminar. I really like Kotaka, Elisa Au and John Fonseca, from the US team.

this is ABC of karate

and he practices shito ryu. However in the WOrld Karate federation the the discipline of kumite is participated in by members of all 4 japanese styles and some okinawan

This dude isn't just good at karate. He's also very skilled in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu.
