George Lopez is not as Mexican as you may think, he was born here in the United States. That's like saying I'm an Irish man but the truth is I'm an American I was born here in America.

Me too. My father was not there for us much either my stepdad was? So we called him dad plus our real dad left when I was 4 and the other 5 were teens and in their 20s they saw no point in calling him dad. He was in Ohio working never even thought to call or send us a letter? Or our mom one? They divorced when I was small? And she married my stepdad ? And we were all in South Carolina where we are from minus my mom she’s Scottish ? But he was there more for us than actual dad was. We are South Carolinians accept mom even our stepdad and our real dad was.

Yes nice interview and the original George Lopez show was fantastic it's just too bad that this new Lopez versus Lopez is such a terrible show. I was expecting so much more and I'm very sad ,the writing is bad there's no flow like in the old show it's just a real disappointment. I'm sad to say it. I have only watched the first two episodes so far but I was disappointed with the first one and the second one well let's just say it didn't get any better.

You can play victim all you want, but that doesn't invalidate her experience or her painful memories.... You obviously have empathy for your own child....but not so much for others. I am sorry your little one doesn't have their father in the picture...however that is no excuse to paint this pitiful picture in your head that only has room for your woes, and turmoil. Empathy is a learned behavior, and should not have limitations... especially one's that are based on your own preconceived judgments of everyone else's life. Someone always has it harder, sure...but that doesn't mean everyone else's pain isn't REAL, RAW, and VAILD! Pain is a universal language. It's something everyone on this earth experiences in some unique way. The one thing it will never be though is race to see who has been hurt the most. So, please don't treat it like it's a game that needs to be won. You are appalled, so am I....but for two completely different reasons. Good luck.
