Love George Lynch's feel, note choice ever since buying Tooth and Nail in 1985, America's greatest along with the very different Jerry Cantrell who obviously sings as well as he plays and writes, after that it's the old demigods of electrical guitar.

I was there :-) ! George's a super nice guy, very approachable and sociable, and my ' No 1 Guitar Influence ' since Tooth And Nail came out in 1983 .

It's his own song and even he forgets exactly how it goes, because he's so caught up in the jam. George is just a regular guy, amazing player and I like how honest he is about it

Doesn’t look like his SD TB12 Screamin Demon pickup in there (no hex screws). So I wonder what pickup is in there...I’d love to know. Is it one of his custom Mr Scary pickups, Super V or another stock Duncan? It has Seymour Duncan on it. Thanks!

I took a look at the still pics I took that night. I found one of the back of guitar I took on it's stand before he came out. There is a label that says "Duncan 59 S". It looks like there may have been more but it rubbed off. Looks like its a '59 SH-1.

Jason Harmon Interesting. I watched another video where George was holding the same guitar (explaining its history) and he said it had a Screamin Demon pickup in it...even though it looked the same (no hex screws). I know the Demon is based on the ’59. Perhaps a prototype or custom wind?

Could be. Maybe he just left the old label on the back after he put the Screamin Demon in.

Great videos Jason! Do you recall what he was playing through? His tone, as always, is killer.

He was playing a through a Friedman Dirty Shirley. friedmanamplification.com/products/amplifiers/dirty-shirley/ He had the following on his pedal board that night: Cusack Screamer, Boss DD3 Digital Delay, Boss CE-5 Chorus (he said he didn't use it very much), and an old MXR Phase 90 (block logo) because "old things are always better" he said.
