George is so lovely. Absolute charmer and brilliant actor, I’m excited for what the future holds for him.

its so fascinating how in the movie, George, as Ned, is this untouchable scary, crazy but charistmatic guy but in this interview, George is just this shy, adorable and really a heart throb. Like how does he do that? ✨talent✨

I think one of the reasons I love George is that he’s about 2 years younger than me I’ve always had a thing for guys a couple of years younger than me 😆🤷🏻♀️❤️

The one thing I wish this film results in is a whole bunch of new people looking into the Kelly story. It really is a fascinating and powerful take of frontier life, injustice, rebellion and family. Despite the various assertions that we'll never really know what happened, it's a topic that was very well documented at the time and has been very heavily researched, so we actually do know what happened for the vast majority of the story. The Kelly Gang were celebrities in their day and the newspapers were filled with constant gossip on the latest Kelly sightings. I understand what Kurzel was attempting, though I have a lot of issues with the execution (and descendants of the outlaws' families as well as the police are quite upset over it). Mackay demonstrated in this film that he is a force to be reckoned with. It's a pity that we didn't get to see him portray Ned Kelly authentically as he definitely seems to have done the hard yards in researching and immersion for the part. That said, what he does with the Ned character in the film is really powerful.
