Gina , funny he never gave sermons on other killings like this! George Masson, who smeared him? No one of sense and Value. Name names sir. Don’t fuel the lines of racial divide. She will be charged, modern men like you sir, want judgement as soon as the Wrongfully shot body of an innocent man hits the ground. She will be charged of at least reckless murder. Fact, she had a weapon, he did not. She shot and wrongfully killed another human. Stop making it about race. “GOD shame you for bearing false witness!” You only do that out of wanting to appease and fitting in. Where is your sermon on Cassius Williams and his best thug bud Rozman Rah-saan Shannon Jr., 21 who were involved with June 12th killing of Dalton James Prater, 18, and Jacob Bradley Hollett, 19, they were found shot near Gus Thomasson Road and Whitson Way in Dallas. George, you are an appeaser for personal gain. If you sing like a bird for one, you must sing for all. Humans killed humans period. Wrongful deaths all around.
@nisha16366 жыл бұрын
Petere Poet How can the lines of racial divide be fueled when the two cases aren't the same. Cassius Williams arrested by Law enforcement; which is the proper response to someone committing a crime vs Amber Guyger who they couldn't locate for a couple days after the incident. Cassius Williams bond 1 million dollars; Amber Guyger bond 300k how is these cases the same in any shape or form. Amber Guyger wasn't arrested immediately like she should have been, her house wasn't searched but the victims house was, she is portrayed by the media as a confused woman who made an honest mistake and shouldn't serve any real time in prison. The victim portrayed as a drug user who potentially was a heavy drug user as well since he had a weed grinder. Even if it was an honest mistake and all of the witness that say she spoke to him before he opened the door turn out to be false. It became about race when the case wasn't handled by Law enforcement properly. It became about race when the victim was portrayed as deserving death because he had weed. It became about race when videos surfaced that conflict with Amber Guyger's statement that she thought she was on her floor, at her door, in her apartment and she wasn't arrested for those discrepancies in her statement.
@peterepoet25356 жыл бұрын
nisha1636 in order to charge someone, the facts must support the charges, there is not just one category for murder. I agree she committed the murder, but, the prosecutor must set a charge that fits the crime. Is it murder in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th degree. If the charge does not fit the evidence a jury may find her innocent. Sometimes people don’t get charged for a year. A rush to judgement is what Punches Pilot did to a man called Jesus. This well educated pastor knows all too well why the final charges have not been set yet.
@nisha16366 жыл бұрын
Reading comprehension. I never questioned why they didn't charge her; you assumed that when it was not written. I questioned why she was not arrested. If a black police officer committed the same act as Amber Guyger and killed a white female he would've been arrested that same night. (The Dexter Betts case is a good example of black cops not receiving the same treatment a white cop receives for an accident vs the cop who killed Andrew Finch who received full protection from society and law enforcement for his "accidental shooting") Odds are your comments would be the reverse as well using racial micro-aggressive words such as *thug* to describe the black cop and he would be the one bad apple that you suddenly found. No one is rushing to judgement. The black community is asking for the same thing they have been asking for decades "fairness" simplified "if you can bring in a armed white murdering criminal alive (Dylan Roof, John Cowell and Ralph Elrod for example) without beating them to an inch of their life do the same for black criminals; and don't start with the "they need to comply" rhetorical nonsense because it is SOP for cops to yell "stop resisting" so they can justify brutalizing black bodies and I can show you a ton of videos with whites shooting at cops, cursing, assaulting cops and still managing not to get killed or beaten the way a black person is who has done the same.

White people should be outraged too. We are living in a police state where they have more rights than the citizens who pay taxes to pay their salaries. They have more rights than active servicemen and servicewomen in the military. They are killing just as much Whites, Blacks and Latinos who ever crosses their path. It depends on the mindstate of the officer at that moment. They know that the police union will back them up. Crooked juries in court will judge in their favor before understanding that the victim could be anyone at any moment. This country is in trouble if we don't pressure our politicians and the judicial system or they will continue to kill innocent people knowingly they can get away with murder. If we are claiming to be the children of God then we have to practice what we preach.

This is truly refreshing, watching this pastor breathing truth to his congregation in relation to this tragic event, as well as addressing the long overlooked elephant in the room racism and white supremacy. Every pastor must understand the platforms they actually occupy and the impact they evoke within and outside their communities. I pray they learn to adapt the messaging to address what is really affecting people here and around the globe. It is not difficult to call wrong wrong and right right, unless you have an agenda to support and defend. This pastor clearly demonstrated that. Others should follow his example and use this as a template to really get the conversation going every time one steps foot in a church, mosque, temple, lodge, and synagogue. #Let's do better

It is righteous white people . . . like this man . . . that also stood with Martin Luther King, Jr., Medgar Evers (not so much Malcolm X) but other civil-rights leaders in the 1960s that did so much to advance the cause of civil rights in this country. It was the leadership of a white Southern Baptist man . . . Lyndon Baines Johnson who . . . as President of these United States was willing to take the political risks to advance and sign legislation that made a difference. He predicted Democrats would lose the South for a generation as a result of that and he was right. He went into it with his eyes wide open. Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner . . . one of them black . . . two of them white . . were killed in Mississippi in the sixties registering black people to vote. This pastor is speaking about white men like them . . . and telling his congregation that those men behaved the way Christ would expect even though one was Jewish. Sir, I applaud you. And I hope others and leadership positions in churches follow your example and go further. Klansman, slave owners, neo-nazis, and white supremacists have long hid behind Christianity & The Bible. You rightfully reclaim the integrity of your faith from those types of miscreants that would bastardize and misuse it. Now, I did notice that there wasn't a member of that choir who . . . when you touched on very relevant Christian behavior / activism surrounding the conditions of this Botham Jean case . . . not a one of them gave you a nod or any sort of positive acknowledgement. They should be cautioned . . . from the pulpit . . ..that on Judgement Day . . . God will look at them and evaluate them precisely on what they did or didn't do in situations like this. May God bless and keep this pastor.

😥Sad that this man said he may have to pay a price for speaking out on the injustices of White America ‼️ shows you just how terribly screwed morals have become ‼️ something as trivial as skin color should not be a factor when a clear injustice has been done. I pray today that a fair and Just sentence will be given to match the Evil that was bestowed on Botham so that both he and his family can find some sense of peace🙏🏾🙏🏾‼️

@jaydangang88136 жыл бұрын
patterson7059 Marching will not work. Boycotting corporations will.
@KPITGangsta6 жыл бұрын
Nope. That ideal comfort will not be broken until it matters. It hasn't mattered for 400 years and it won't matter next week. Change in this country only occurs immediately when White people take action and vote. There are plenty of White people marching and attending rallies for injustices committed against innocent Black Lives but not one single push for systemic change or any votes cast from those positional White allies. The feminist have not once ever in history defended a Black woman when her assailant was a White person but, they'll be the first to put Black woman in front of their marches. Again, when humans are comfortable and feel safe, it's hard for them to ever care. And its harder for that care to ever become sustainable systemic action.
@YahuahElohim6 жыл бұрын
patterson7059 he has a huge platform and used it! This is big; a lot of white pastors wouldn’t do this. Truth be told, we will need white peeps on our side and we will need to stop supporting their businesses✊🏿
@KPITGangsta6 жыл бұрын
@MH mh we'd have to constuct a voting system where we'd vote to make changes with money collectively that directly benefitted the Black community, anything else and nothing changes. All it is, is that White people pretend to be concerned and nothing changes. Pretending to care or offering fake sympathy is useless and should be treated as such by every Black person universally from now on until change actually happens. We need solutions to stop the deaths and punish the murders as they happen devolve into and not lesser charges. The fact that if the situation was different and it was a Black female cop murdering a White male in his apartment, knowing she'd be in prison already with the book thrown at her is tragic and well beyond sad, per how the White community/society would've have responded/reacted. Plus they'd have passed a brand new law right immediately along with her sentencing too.
