Sometimes I feel very sad because muy Dearest George is not in this World anymore, but when I realize that he is in Heaven With his Mother, I feel better, because I Know how much he loved her and I believe that he is happy to be With her again. I read in an interview where George said that his grandmother on his mother's side was Jewish, but she married a non Jewish man and never talked about being Jewish because she was afraid of what was going on with the Nazi's. (Coincidentally, Andrew's father was Jewish).I think the Jewish people must be very musically talented, as so many of the greatest songwriters are Jewish: George himself, Mark Knopfler, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Neil Diamond, to name but a few.
