George Michael - I Remember You (60th Birthday Tribute)

Here is a video I made of George's rendition of "I Remember You" from the Songs from the Last Century album. Based off of the name of the song alone, I thought this would be a very fitting video for what would have been George Michael's 60th Birthday.
Thank you to the people that filmed the Symphonica footage I used in this mix, it made the mix much better in my opinion.

I have loved this song since I first heard It. I had to wait to hear this lovely tribute for a day because I knew I would cry because my heart will break again. I always felt George sang this song for all his fans (lovelys). It's strange to think he really didn't know how much he was truely loved until when he was in the hospital in Austria & came home. It was clear buy the way he felt the to address his fans about how he realized that his fans really caried. I can't amagine George not really knowing this soner. Well, better late than never, George deseved that much and more! I do hope since his passing still can feel our love in the heavens! I remember this song from1964 by Frank Ifield. George sings it beautifully and makes it much more of a love ballad than the original, which was very bouncy. This is a lovely tribute to George and so poignant with the bits spliced in. I'm so glad there's the shot of him and Andrew Ridgeley hugging. They were such great friends.
