George Michael opened up about his sexuality during a 1998 interview with CNN, just days after he was arrested in a Beverly Hills, California, public park where he engaged in a 'lewd act' with an undercover police officer.

For those who feel that George did not love Kenny, go through his music and look at videos where George made a few statements saying the he wrote a few ABOUT his feelings for Kenny. I get so tired at all of the hoopla over Anselmo being the ONLY man George really loved! His music proved that Kenny Goss held a special place in his heart. Not Fadi, but DEFINITELY Kenny. I think honestly that by Anselmo being his first homosexual lover, that put a deep place of compassion in George's heart for Anselmo. Also, it has been stated that Anselmo possibly was more experienced in REAL homosexual relationships than George. For all we know, George's heart may have been in love with the newness of feeling free SEXUALLY with Anselmo. I have met MANY women who fell madly in love with their first sexual partner. In my opinion, that could also pertain to ANY kind of sexual relationship, gay, straight, bisexual. So, my point is the RUMORS that George loved Anselmo MORE just irks me. George didn't tell his deep comparison between Anselmo and Kenny; his music stated his love for both men. ONLY George KNEW his extent of love for each man.

@@Septbaby1958 I agree with a lot of what you say but I think the difference between George's love for Anselmo compared to his love for Kenny is that Anselmo died, he went from being elated and in love to deep sorrow, it's in his music. I just think the death of his first real lover left a whole in his heart that never healed. I believe he loved Kenny equally but they just broke up like other couples do, it's painful but not the same as bereavement.

Evidence shows that homosexual parents, who adopt children, on average, have a more productive household, and everything else being equal, the child does better in a household with homosexual parents than in a household with heterosexual parents. Also, using your logic, wouldn't infertile couples be "scum" as well. Just admit it. You hate gat people because you are a closeted homosexual. There are actual studies that show that a homophobe is almost always a closeted homosexual who has been repressed by Islamic culture or Christian culture, etc.

For me by far the saddest celeb death of this year, where btw several big names have gone. He pretty much had everything in terms of a music artist (highest calibre), but he had huge likablity factor. Carried himself well on the whole, modest, kind,caring,introvert. When you think of the biggest male singers from Britain for the past 30+ years, two come to mind, George Michael & Elton John. Not going to bad mouth Elton, but i get the sense that the nation had an doration for George Michael as a person beside his music talent. Like you're not suppose to pick fav out of your children,brothers/sisters or cousins, etc... but deep down you might have one. That was George Michael IMO. Peoples fav!

Many celebrities and many artists such as George Michael were sometimes compelled to embarrass themselves, when it came to their sexuality, especially in the show-business industry. They always felt like they had the need to reveal their own identity to the public, in order to justify themselves, for who they really were. As very sensitive people, most artists are obsessed by what the public opinion will think of them and as the result of this, that is mainly the fault of the medias and the news press. I think that George Michael had a lot of class and he was a very good singer. Therefore, he didn’t have to suffer and live inside of a closet, for the rest of his existence. RIP, George Michael! Thank you. Johnny, Montréal, Canada 🇨🇦

Dealing with one's sexuality is a personal process for everyone, regardless of whether or not they are famous. I think George's 'coming out' was hastened by his arrest for indecency - it's like he was 'caught' with his pants down (literally and figuratively).

He joined Sharon Osbourne on her American chat show, The Talk, where he spoke of the struggles George faced with addiction and his sexuality. “He resented the fact that I’d hinted that maybe he change his life a little bit, and he’d be happier if he tried something else," Elton said.

I will never understand why it matters for the world has to know who's gay. As long they come out to friends and family that's find with me. You don't see a straight person yell it to the world.
@ryderstine87733 жыл бұрын
what?? straight people get to flaunt their sexuality everywhere, everyday, in everyone’s faces. don’t act like gay people are the ones showing off our sexuality, it’s been and has always been the straights.

It's amazing what we, who are LGBTQIA+ have to go through in this world, simply to be ourselves. It can be so exhausting. I can't help but believe it's part of what made GM eventually crash and burn. Evan after he'd come out, the damage was done. Even here, he has to speak about it in a way a straight person can't even imagine.

I always forget that he was British! I know he was Greek on his father's side. His birth name was actually Greek; "George Michael" is a pseudonym. He probably changed it to be more marketable, or perhaps people had a hard time pronouncing it.

Want a good advice on how to prevent more and more people hating gays and people with other abnormal sexualities? Keep your sexuality in your homes and bedrooms and don't stick it into people's face like a pair of dirty tennis socks. It's like with having a penis - all guys have one but if you whip it out in public, singing a loud ode of praise to your little friend to people who don't want to hear (or see) it... well, not everybody will appreciate it.

That’s why he didn’t want to touch her body it had nothing to do with faith...I like George Michael but I always knew he was gay..many gay people especially in the 80’s when people were so very cruel to openly gay people ( remember Ryan White) have had heterosexual relationships because they were confused.
