@@retrotv1988he played for Hoover and Georgia so that makes me feel better but sometimes he does have some interesting body language…I played with dudes like this that were successful but others who couldn’t keep their emotions in check. I just don’t see how he would of lasted being at Hoover if he was an over emotional player let alone Georgia or the Steelers so you prob right. He will prob be fine.

What in this clip showed that? Coach wanted to say something to Wilson and if he is going to teach him something. it makes sense to teach it to everyone so Wilson doesn’t feel called out and everyone else get a reminder of there main goal in this drill and how it’s executed. So he called them over to hear as well. George was saying teach him coach. Tell him. How is that bad?

Russ has got more zip on the ball then Justin.

Wait till the games start. You'll notice Fields has a stronger arm.

@@Greg_211 Stronger arm is a big maybe considering Prime Russ had a stronger arm than Fields does currently, but Fields losing the ball 46 times in the last two years isn't going to cut it. Russ is known for his arm strength as he has a background in baseball. Anyone who played baseball can often out-throw even the best of QB's as far as arm strength goes.

@@DJHogue Fields losing the ball 46 times has ZERO to do with arm strength nor is it any predictor of how he'll perform with the Steelers. Fields was part of a total rebuild in Chicago, during which time they went through two GMs, two HCs and two OCs in three years. And guess what, Fields played baseball too and was considered a major league prospect before he ditched baseball to focus full time on football. It's also pretty obvious you haven't watched Russ play much for the Broncos. If you did, you would have noticed that his arm strength has diminished somewhat from his time in Seattle.

@@Greg_211 I never said 46 TOs in 2 years had anything to do with arm strength, but it is 100% an insight into how he could perform with the Steelers. And that was just the nickname I called him, hence the dashes between the "name". Fields had a better situation offensively than the Steelers did last season, hence the worst OC in NFL history, less proven receivers than the Bears, worse line than the Bears; so he gets less excuses than Kenny, but yes, we all understand the context. And Justin Fields threw about 85mph from the infield and about 80mph as pitcher which is a good bit slower than Russ and a good bit slower than your average HS baseball player. I guess when I said "played baseball", I meant relative to his arm strength which is poor relative to baseball players. So even with a "diminished" Russ, he likely still throws harder, hence reality.

@@DJHogue We'll have to agree to disagree because the turnovers Fields had in the '22 season are irrelevant. The '22 season was an anomaly by NFL standards as then new GM Ryan Poles gutted the entire roster resulting in the leagues worst defense (28 pts a game), a shoddy injury prone o-line, and a bunch of backups at WR. New GM, new HC, new OC, and Fields second offensive system in as many years. And yet, Fields still managed to throw 17 TD passes in a total rebuild year which is more TDs as Pickett has thrown (13) in TWO SEASONS with the Steelers. He also managed to rush for 1100 yards in that season joining Mike Vick and Lamar Jackson as the only QBs in NFL history to accomplish that feat. He also broke Mike Vick's single game rushing record. Comparatively speaking, Pickett's situation was a walk in the park compared to what Fields had to endure in his first two seasons as a Bear. To take it one step further, Fields had more passing TDs (16) than the entire Steelers QB room combined last season (13)! Lastly, the Steelers WRs from top to bottom were every bit as talented as the Bears, even more so. Pickens is as talented as any young WR in the league and Diontae Johnson was very good for the Steelers as well. All Fields had was DJ Moore. Claypool was so bad the Bears traded him mid-season. His next in line Mooney got benched for a rookie, who wasn't even that good. So your way off base as it pertains to the WRs. Bottom line is this really isn't a debate. Fields has an infinitely higher ceiling than Pickett ever had. As it pertains to the comparison between Russ and Justin -- see below --keeping in mind that Russ played 15 games vs Fields 13 ... Justin Fields: Rank 20 2023 stats: 13 games | 61.4 pct | 2,562 pass yds | 6.9 ypa | 16 pass TD | 9 INT | 657 rush yds | 4 rush TD | 10 fumbles Russell Wilson: Rank 21 2023 stats: 15 games | 66.4 pct | 3,070 pass yds | 6.9 ypa | 26 pass TD | 8 INT | 341 rush yds | 3 rush TD | 10 fumbles
