Hey! So.. you probably won't see this. The first BMC song I ever listened to was Michael In The Bathroom. I fell in love immediately. I started truly getting into other musicals other than Heathers at the max this year. And I honestly am so happy but I regret it at the same time. I regret that I listened to the beauty that is Be More Chill so late. I believed in BMC so much because it's such a PHENOMENAL show. I honestly prefer this to Hamilton (plz don't attack me I'm still a Hamilfan). But when I got the google news notification of you guys announcing your closing date, my heart stopped. I actually almost cried and almost fell off my bed. I couldn't believe it. But I will always be happy of how far you've all come with this show. We are all so proud of all of you and we will absolutely miss you guys. I'll admit, it will take us a long time to recover. But someday we will. We'll always be here for you guys. We love you. It might be going off Broadway but the fandom will still live on. Be More Chill is one of my favorite musicals and I have a far amount of merch that just because it left Broadway doesnt mean that it wont be just as wonderful and present in my life. And George, Michael is really one of my favorite characters not just cause we all root for him but because (and I know you probably hear this a lot) but he is the ONLY character I see myself in. I have a ton things in common with him good and bad. The good being that I love asian food any kind sushi included, my music taste is very weird and that includes a lot of 90's music, (just turning 34 on the first kinda makes it part of my childhood too :)) his sense of humor is total me, and Im even a stoner to top it of nicely with a bow. I even made myself a Michael Mell hoodie which has my interests on it but there is one patch that i kept in common with him and that is the record with the headphones due to my taste in music and music helps with my depression. The one bad thing is that i know what its like to lose a friend like Michael did over something I didnt do. She was pushed away by my ex husband and I was only guilty by association. Unlike Michael though I never got her back and I ended up having a panic attack in my bedroom due to the situation because my ex left me to my own devices after the incident......he had to leave for work across the state and thought it was ok to leave me after he fucked everything up. Needless to say he was not a nice man. But thank you for bringing Michael to life for me because I needed someone like him during my ups and downs. BMC might be gone from Broaway but i still love the fandom.
