Great video, thanks. I was just in Ketchikan and visited their Parnassus Book store. A popular name for book stores!

I just picked up a copy of the first volume of that Melville biography recently. The condition isn’t as nice as yours, but I’m excited to dive into it nonetheless. Need to find a nice copy of the second volume, too. The bookstore I was in had a nice paperback copy, but I’m holding out for the hardcover. As big a Melville as I am, I would have thought that I’d have known that there are TWO Melville houses very near to where I live; his Arrowhead, where he composed most of Moby Dick, is about 40 mins away, in Pittsfield, Mass. And the other is about 20 minutes away in Lansingburgh, NY. Very excited to visit them!

Very nice! I just checked eBay and there's a hardcover of volume 2 listed as "very good" for about 20 bucks. Not sure how links work on KZbin but let's see if I can paste it here: tinyurl.com/4m8xawu3 You should definitely make a pilgrimage to those Melville houses, by the way.

Hi, there. Thanks for your question. If I'm lucky, it'll be out sometime in the 4th quarter of this year. My main priority for the new year is to finish my novel Morphological Echoes above all else. Wishing you this best this new year and beyond. Cheers!
