George Saunders and Salman Rushdie interview at the 2017 Miami Book Fair

George Saunders is the author of nine books, including Tenth of December, which was a finalist for the National Book Award, and won the inaugural Folio Prize (for the best work of fiction in English) and the Story Prize (best short story collection). He has received MacArthur and Guggenheim Fellowships, the PEN/Malamud Prize for excellence in the short story, and was recently elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. In 2013, he was named one of the world’s 100 most influential people by Time magazine. He teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Syracuse University.
Sir Salman Rushdie is the author of many novels including Grimus, Midnight's Children, Shame, The Satanic Verses, The Moor's Last Sigh, The Ground Beneath Her Feet, Fury, Shalimar the Clown and The Enchantress of Florence. He has also published works of non-fiction including, The Jaguar Smile, Imaginary Homelands, The Wizard of Oz and, as co-editor, The Vintage Book of Short Stories.

Right I was also in search of his address since 2015 after reading " Midnight children " and finding it extremely hilarious ,though it was a thick novel I read it as if I was flying, turning the pages at breakneck speed.

Perplexed and sad to see the tremendous support for the heinous attack on a writer on BBC Urdu. To the ignorant and extremist element, he is a hero. Is this the teaching of the so called "religion of peace?" What an oxymoron. This is a fitting example of how blind faith is not fit for today's modern societies.
