You’d have to be willing to understand his view on how people and markets work. He uses the term reflexivity and it is not his invention. The idea has been around for ages (Buddhist thought on attachment parallels it in some sense). Populism is a tricky sentiment in people. Populism got us the New Deal. It also got the world Hitler, Franco and Mussolini. People’s will can and is often shaped. Today that will is crafted in large measure by rightwingers like Koch or Murdoch.
