My parents celebrated their 50th on Dec 23, 2021. Their top song is "Could I Have this Dance" by Anne Murray, their song when they dates was "Put your Head on my Shoulder" by Paul Anka. When Pure Country was released along with this song my Dad claimed it as his song for my Mom. We play this and the others every year for them. Thanks George, for writing and performing this. He had just retired and we had started to really enjoy retirement when he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (lymphoma) and given 4 days to live ... They wanted to send him to Hospice and he said Hell No that he was going home to his wife and sleep in his own bed ...
