My favorite when he was on The Body Shop with Jesse Ventura. He started kicking the weights around and Jesse yells at him, "Hey, you better watch were you kick those weights. Those are my toes down there!" My father and I almost fell out of our chairs laughing! RIP George!

The Animal and The Sheik were my two favorite wrestlers back in the day. I stopped watching wrestling 20 years ago.

It turned to crap after the Attitude era. Stone Cold was gone so what's the point I've seen bits here and there since was not impressed no heart, personality.

True story. At the start of my senior year of high school, Sept 1989, me and a couple of buddies went to a WWF house show on a Sunday night. When we walked into the lobby I saw some guys standing around in red blazers talking and as we got closer to them this bald headed guy said, "I'll be there in about 15 minutes". Right after I walked past him, I realized it was George the Animal Steele! That must have been during the agent phase he was referring to here.

Iron Sheik thought very poorly of George’s gimmick. Said he was 1 dimensional. But he also admitted that he captivated the audiences, which was the most important thing

in the interview he mentions that fact.... I think Vince convinced him to stooge....Being old school, made him want to be a disciplinarian probably... not saying he was right, Just from a different era
