u know what i dont understand is this rappers who 'escaped' the hood life from anywhere, usually talk about the hood life as if its positive in they're songs, but they broke through it for a reason, they hated it too, they say things like they will bring they're homies out of the hood too, but your going to bring another brother into the hood if your talking negatively like that. anyway this guy will get big. im telling you, people will soon recognise. real recognise real, love for u nohomo g

Telling the truth that people need to hear I'm emotionally shocked but won't shed a tear I walk with pride cause yolo I ain't got time for fear Your music should touch everyone but touches youths here Cause 13 year olds walking round with a knife I'm watching the ghetto thinking is this life Is this life. (I wrote this,George inspired me,it's not from one his songs)

"I'll dignify your excuses and call them reasons; but reasons ain't solutions". My response... So look now beyond the point of your knife, be that the power of steel in your pocket or your words that strife ... and think yourself and your own, for just a minute, in another life...

Denise these are words well spoken, and I solute you for the familiar rhythm that you've chosen. Poetry is a powerful, and contagious method of communication, one which can be used to deliver a strong message to a nation. This is the genius of George's intentions, because when you see someone successfully making an impact through intellectual application, who is still underrated but is not short of admiration, following in his footsteps soon becomes the temptation. Then soon positive poetry may become an epidemic, and instead of drugs, sex & violence, the focus of these youth's become academic. When to be the top boy on the street, isn't based on muscle mass or gang stature, nor being working class or coke dispatcher, But being creative in performing arts, ultimately re-inventing the definition of street-smart. Yes this might all sound very far-fetched like a beneficial government scheme, but isn't that what they all thought in the early 60's when the world's most influential human-rights activist had an ever-evasive dream? So yes, maybe these generously dignified reasons are weak excuse substitutions... But wouldn't it just be so pleasingly ironic, if they actually are the solution... ... ?

So I meet you on a plane at 30,000 feet. We toss out a few ideas and a mutual love for language. "Whenever you play the blame game you miss the point" Thanks for keeping your feet on the ground with all these higher thoughts. I think you're a voice to be heard in these days of so much being just words.
