We have made significant progress so far, but me personally, us challenging for the league title this season was never on my mind. Stability, consistency, top 4 and a cup run (conference league) are what I do expect this season.

I am not trying to criticize or anything but our defense if just not good. Simple if we do play big teams like Liverpool or man city they will take advantage over that’s the fact. I saw it in the gent game (we can play around the back) but it’s almost every time shaken very shaky but so far we have done good but I am scared about Liverpool and even Newcastle they could probably take advantage of us. I think we will probably come 4th or 5th with a really big point margin from the top three to us.

Enzo has given Chelsea identity again. I think these kids is finally buying into this philosophy. We currently on 4th place in the league. No Chelsea fan expected this. I think we need end top 4 and win a title whether it is a domestic won or the conference league.

I think we’ve improved. Defensively we could improve but I think it’s better than last year. If we can get 4-6 points from the games against Liverpool and Arsenal before Christmas, I think we’ll end top 3

I think Maresca's willingness to adapt his style with the quality of players we have, is the main reason why we're doing well. He didn't impose his style on our players. I also think he's really good at identifying areas were individual players need to improve and he's good at improving players- we've seen madueke score with his right foot, mudryk cross with his weaker left foot, colwill passing out from the back much better- he's a good manager BUT a FANTASTIC coach!!!

I agree 100% - Very good start to the season. I like that Maresca's basically said - I know we've got 45 player's, but these 25 - 27 are my squad, & that's where my team is coming from. Sorry to you other guys, but I need to try & get results & improvements, and can't whilst trying to keep 45 player's happy. I personally still have reservations about Modrkye, but admit he's looked better over recent cameos- ,maybe he just need to dumb down his game to trying to do fewer things right. I also have concerns about Reece James.- both physically ( being able to last a season) and mentally (seems impetuous - not a good look for your captain) Longer term, Colwell and Caicedo, have shown real leadership qualities. The next few games are going to be important- may not win them all, but important we continue to play well.

I do reckon we are getting a bit a head of ourselves in terms of how we've been performing. In a few of the games we have been quite lucky to not concede despite playing very well. But with a new system which is quite complicated to execute 100% - the players are taking it in well and we are seeing what the coach wants - which is what we didn't have with Pochettino. I think we will get top 5 minimum this season, but its a work in progress so expecting some let down at some point!

Man you are again spot on your analaysis it is obvious that , they are cooking but I really did not like how they were playing around palmer, at times they passed him when did not have any option and at times the passed him when he was in a tight space and that was a big concern for me. Guys watch the game again and reply if what I'm talking about holds water and I think that kind of play should be avoided

We are so much better than last season. Still a lot of room for improvementbut on thevright track. Lets not get carried away, two losses and we are 8th again. Consistanc y is key, we nearly slipped up against Forest. Liverpool will be a true test

It's been positive and of course I had concerns because of our results in Pre-Season. Overall I am happy we are starting to look good but I am still not 100% confident. Even a 2-3 goal lead I am still uneasy but that is really down to our defence. I do feel that the more time Fofana and Colwill play together, they have the potential to match the likes of Saliba and Gabriel. Viega and Cucurella are decent LB. Gusto hasn't been shining as much as last year but I hope he gets back on track because he is class. James is always gone. It's really boils down to consistency from the back. Thats why Tuchel won the UCL, the defence was inmoveable. Our attacking output, no issues apart from breaking down lowblock teams (hence Nottingham Forest 1-1).

honestly i just dont want fans to be disappointed if we don't beat Liverpool because negativity isnt what our players need. , going to anfield is one of the hardest places to go. part of me feels like the reason why chelsea struggle at the bridge is often due to a missed placed pass is grunted so much by fans or chances not taken. We have such a young team that still has a lot of learning to do, let them learn, grow and cook.

I think our defensive issues have more to do with our midfield pairing than the back line. Other teams glide through our porous midfield and have clear runs at our defense. It's an Enzo issue, if I'm being specific.

After last season if you had offered me we would be 4th seven games in I would have joyfully taken it. We have improved amazingly under Marasca and are getting better all the time. The Liverpool game is going to be a massive test but if we are firing on all cylinders then a draw or win is possible. 💙

I never fear the big games, it’s always the small games; because that is where we lose points. We struggle to break low blocks, and it’s because we can’t cut through passes, that’s where the tiki taka style fast short two touch football is ideal, we constantly try to break the low block on the wings and it never works because we are not very great at converting crosses, plus teams tend to employ a narrow block where they make their box purposely congested, to create more clean cut chances and then you tend to find it becomes messy, and chances fall to luck.

All the team members need to support the team, I've seen Noni trying to score goals on his own rather than assist , and it's easy passes that are thrown away, the more goals we score the less pressure we have to bare with , easier it is for someone to give him an assist

Concerns going forward. Reece James, need him back and longer hes out more i worry about him going forward, despite Gusto being great. Discipline an issue needs addressing. Got tough run of games coming up to see where we really are at. Sanchez makes great saves and odd howler needs consistency. Enzo needs to lift his game in midfield, defensively hes the weak link.

Chelsea has got a very good coach whose communication is very effective and who is technically astute. His winning mentality fits Chelsea perfectly. Enzo is never satisfied. He feels the best can still be better. I trust him absolutely with these boys. We are going to ball. In the Forest game, the substitutions came in rather late. But we must give it to their goalkeeper. He did his job marvellously well. I believe we would beat Liverpool at Anfield. After that, we would boss teams.
