Maresca learnt somethings from the last game 's experiments. Also cannot concede in the midfield area. Players who can combine, finish and exhibit game awareness. He will revert to a hybrid set-up. Sánchez, Fofana, Adarabioyo, Colwill, Cucurella, Caicedo, Fernández, Madeuke, Palmer, Sancho, Jackson. It's what he has been building towards. If Fernández struggles, substitute with Veiga. Jackson cannot score, replace with Nkunku. Madeuke not delivering, add Neto. Manage Sancho swith Felix or Dewsbury-Hall. Containing Antonio, Bowen, Kudos and Souček will be interesting. An eclectic mix of size, power, speed, trickery, physicality. A good test of shape, tracking and support. Will we play slow build-up or fast counters? Or dominate possession in the middle and attacking thirds, patiently waiting for incisive opportunities. Will Palmer be man marked? Game tactics and the ability to influence change are key. Very close encounter. Another late Chelsea win, 2:1.

Last game Noni was lacking because he wasn’t sure if to leave Disasi. Gusto usually bombs forward to help take out a defender. With Disasi it was trust issues.

Hey George, audited your show before initial West Ham/Chelsea clash last season and my take was that I was grateful we were playing you guys as early as we were, and therefore liked our chances. In a way we're more in that position this year, i.e. I think we'll 'gel' eventually, but we're nowhere near that level, that level of 'mutual confidence' players need with respect to one another in order consistently to succeed at this level. In a way it could be argued that Chelsea too is in this position (once again) just not so radically as West Ham is atp. I like our chances nonetheless *if* Chelsea repeat last week's performance, but how likely is that? Though I fear this game I won't bet against my team-- West Ham 2-1, Kudus with a late stunner to seal the win. You have a fabulous network; wish the Hammers had as dynamic a network as the Chelsea brave. Cheers

Agree 100% with your comments and team. Sancho & Nkunku deserve to start based on performance last week. Unfortunately I think Reece James should be sold while other clubs are still interested. Injury prone and we can't rely on him being fit. Another possible solution for RB for this week could be Fofana at RB & Tosan at CB

Look, I can’t see Disasi on the right ever again. Last week I wanted Caicedo to play there; I have had a real change of heart. We have two RB who can’t stay fit. I have faith that Gusto will return soon, I haven’t a clue when Reece will. I think we need to start bedding in young Josh. Not necessarily to start but he needs game time. If we can’t count on having two RBs fit, then we need Josh to be ready to contribute.
