Trying a different mouth piece size or shape may help with comfort and air flow. More importantly is just the technique and to increase air speed. Playing super high alot with bad technique can leave lip scarring possibly, if you're not aware. In my opinion circular breathing and double tongue-ing are more useful.

I've been lucky enough to see Sandoval in concert twice and as good as his trumpet playing is it can't hold a candle to his piano playing. OH - MY - GAWD! He's a huge talent in any case and has been for a very long time. He (Sandoval) hosted the Gene Harris Jazz Festival in Boise, ID the year after Gene died and even though I knew of Arturo long before that, the rest of the people that I dragged along with me to the festival had not. They all left in a daze at what they had all witnessed in their introduction to the genius of Arturo Sandoval, wigglin' legs and all. 😁
