The first time I heard this version was an early morning in summer 2017. My ex-husband and I went down to the hotel's breakfast room. It seems like he was searching for happiness his entire life. He found real love and his partner died of cancer. I believe we lost part of George then. On Christmas Eve he pulled back the curtain to see the carollers pass his home. He died that night. He had the most beautiful voice and had an honest sincerity about preforming for his fans! Makes me weep every time! What a voice, what a legend! Miss you Georgie! My first gay hairdresser in San Francisco introduced me to George back in the late 70s. Then the AIDS epidemic hit and the gay population really suffered in SF. We all worked to raise money for some of the first hospices for gay men. It was a tough time. Thank god we are through that. I seen an interview of him talking about this MTV unplugged performance. He said that his mother was in the audience that night. He said that everything was perfect about the music that night... his voice, his breathing, and the band. He stated that he'd never spoken to his mother from the stage before but he did that night and that was the last time she seen him perform before she died. I remember seeing this on MTV at that time and the entire set was amazing. He looked in the audience and said "hi mom... smiling." We lost huge when we lost this beautiful soul!

+L'AMI -RALE Je comprends bien les paroles, mais je suis un peu comme toi, dans le sens que je ne prête pas trop d'importance/attention aux paroles ou à la langue utilisée. Tant que la musique me touche, ça me va parfaitement. Moi j'écoute tout : instrumental, du japonais, du portugais, du mandarin, du francais, de l'anglais, pour ne citer que quelques exemples. hahaha :P

+Akash-sama I love George Michael and he is my main insipiration (im a Singer too) BUT remeber that this is a produced live version of a song, so if there any single fake note, it might be corrected in the production process. I know for sure that there are instruments out of tune that are re recorded in studio. Im not saying that Michael is not good, because he is REALLY FREAKING GOOD, but never consider the "official live video" as a one without studio processing behind.
