Don't be afraid. Do you know the Lord? I'm just asking in a non confrontational way. If you don't know Jesus, can i ask you a favor? Please come to him in submission, and He will bring you into His loving arms. You will no longer be afraid to die. I promise this. When i became a believer at 32 and gave my life to Jesus Christ, it changed my life forever. I know i'm not in your situation yet, but I personally know what it's like to be filled with fear and endure a nightmare. I've suffered from two autoimmune diseases and Bipolar Disorder for many years, and it has made me become disabled as a result. I've had episodes of sheer terror with my mental health that i begged God to let me die. The only way I have been able to endure 45 years of this debilitating disorder is through my walk with the Lord. Another verse i say out loud when i'm losing my sanity is from Philippians 2: "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me." When i'm feeling like i can't take another day of sorrow and fear, i turn to Him and ask for the courage to get through this day. I know Jesus is with me each and every day. Without Him in my life, I would have taken my life. I don't know if this helps you through this extremely difficult part of your life. But, i saw your text and wanted to reach out with some comfort. The Lord is waiting for you to come to Him and make him a part of your life. All you have to do is say, "I'm a sinner God. Please forgive me for this, I believe you are the Savior of this world, that you died on the cross, rose up 3 days later, and if i repent of my sins, you will forgive me. Say this out aloud. Watch what will happen to you. A peace beyond all understanding will come over you, and you will be able to approach your death with no fear. Your life doesn't stop here on Earth. It goes on after this. The only thing that dies is your body, but the soul remains. Ask Jesus to make a home within your heart, and you will receive eternity with him in heaven. It's not too late to do this. I pray that our Heavenly Father will bless you with a love and mercy that you have never known. It is as if the mask is off and your eyes can see for the very first time! Lord Jesus, watch over this man and give him the courage and faith to go the distance, stand firm in his newfound faith, and await the gift of salvation as he makes this declaration to follow you. I pray this in Jesus Name. Amen. God Bless You and welcome brother in Christ. 🙏✝️🙇♀️🙇♂️⛪️💞🕊 Let me know how you are after you have made the decision. 🙏✝️🫴

One of the most beautiful, sad love songs I've ever heard and his voice, his control of it and emotion and the phrasing of this tune is utter perfection. But, oh my, such a sad sad song, so gorgeous in its simplicity AND complexity. Genius that he was. Stunning performance. I read an interview in which he said that he when sang songs that were from his personal experience, like this one (and, One More Try), he tries to put himself back in the frame of mind and emotion he was in when he went through the experience and when he wrote the tune. And, you can really hear that every time he sings this tune,

Same! I just watched the Wham documentary on Netflix and remembered how much I loved their music at 10 years old. Make It Big was one of the first cassettes I bought. I had forgotten about them for many years as kids do, what is cool one minute you wouldn’t dare admit to liking the next, at least back then. Rediscovering their music reminds me of the joy that was in each of their songs. My heart hurts that I will never get to drag my kids to a Wham reunion. I’m glad the world including me has been reminded of how great George was, and how joyful his friendship was with his Wham band mates. Reminds of the good in the world🎉!

You expressed my feelings perfectly. I'm 51 and absolutely adored him when Faith came out. I was 17. I was still listening to his songs when they were on the radio, but sort of drifted away from him. After accidentally finding his documentary Freedom Uncut, I cannot stop listening and watching and crying. I missed all those years when I could have seen him in concerts, etc. I feel a heart-wrenching loss that he is no longer here. He was truly one of a kind both as a person and a musician.

No, I'm sorry, as much as I loved him, he didn't make it. God showed me where he went. I was working in a Hotel at the time, and I was a Maid. I was going to do these two guys room, when they left, as I went in it, it was so black, it scared me and filled with darkness, that I ran out at first. It was so black, you could feel it, this gross darkness is described in the Bible. It is hell. I prayed when I did the room and opened up the windows. But I'll never forget, because it was around the time he died. God spoke to me and said, this was George fate, hell. He also told me that George battled all his life about his sexuality, he wanted people to think he was at peace about it, but deep in his soul, he supposed to had married a woman and had a son to carry his legacy. Jesus loved him so much, he allowed a Church to literally be right next door, but Jesus won't force us, we have to come to him George loved God, but knew God wouldn't accept his deviant and sinful lifestyle. He also knew he would have to give it up, therefore he wouldn't, therefore he isn't singing with any angels. He is in a burning hell, his spirit. It is appointed unto man to die once, then the judgment.

The first time I heard this was on my Alexa while decorating my Christmas tree about 3 years ago. It was a moment in time that I had to stand still and just listen. I will never forget that moment. Brings me right back to it every time I hear this. The old farmhouse where we lived, the creek, the mountain view and the snowfall while I was decorating. Pure magic. Thank you George. I love you.

What a voice, absolutely nailed it in this live performance. So much pain, vulnerability and yet ultimate out and out power in his vocal, displayed in one of the best songs George wrote. About being afraid to commit to a relationship because of being hurt previously, despite knowing the potential rewards and comfort that it could offer. Like a double edged sword. This and praying for time are my favourites. In his day, no one could come close to his live performances. He lives on.

Imagine singing a song a thousand times yet still singing it like you mean it. That’s passion. And having met him when I was a kid I can tell you, he really was an absolute sweetheart. All of the interviews show him as he was; a genuinely kind and sweet guy. One of the rare ones- truly kind and truly loveable.

Lucky you meeting George, Simply a wonderful human being. His songs are as meaningful today as ever. This song I believe is one of his best. I cry every time I hear it. The words you can tell are from his heart. Miss him everyday. He made the word a better place. America treated him horribly, newspapers and the like. It is no wonder he did not like coming here. I respectfully apologize for USA. I would like him to know so many people TRULY adored his music and who he was as a person. Bette ann 2022.

You don't need to tell us what a kind and wonderful man George was, because it oozed from his beautiful eyes, and that gorgeous smile. I remember this interview on Parkinson and him singing "A different corner". It was the most beautiful song and his voice was pure angelic.I believe that evey now and then, God gives mankind a unique and wonderful soul to enrich our lives. He did the same with Elvis....but they are only lent to us for a little while before he has to take them away again. You have. been very privileged to have met George 😪😪😪 God Bless George. Always. 🙏🙏❤️❤️
