The GEORGES CHAKRA COUTURE Spring/Summer 2023 Collection is a youthful interpretation of extravagance, an exploration of opulent volumes in sumptuously striking colors, capturing a mood of expressive femininity and dramatic decadence.
Imbued with a sense of freshness, this season’s palette is reflective and audacious. Shocks of cinematic color: neon yellow, vibrant coral, flame rose, emerald hues, lime and bright mint are bursts of electric energy. Chartreuse, rose pale, vanilla
and ice blue give way to a vivid white. Crystals, sequins and stones are embellished onto the garments, creating reflective subtlety. Metallics, holographics, and printed paillettes are intricately woven into shimmering mosaics.

Incredible collection. As usual, but this one is very special. The color palette is just beautiful. The greens, pale blues, and aqua,s. Not crazy about the macrame' dresses in the open but i appreciate the work., and the mini dress evening gowns need to be lengthened to the knee. So short cheapens the whole look.

The opening chartreuse garments were very nice. I found most of the white garments looked stiff and uncomfortable. Much if the fabric , I think, looked a bit cheap.

Couture requires a slower gait. The quickness of the models cheapened the looks, that honestly were already a bit contrived. Editing is an essential tool in a designers bag. Editing is a friend to every presentation. This collection would have benefited from…editing.

I would have liked to see the venue decorated at least a bit... ? Designs were not bad but fabrics looked inexpensive, some garments did not fit well. (:46 neon outfit)... not the best collection this season.
