Georgetown is a historic neighborhood and commercial district in Washington, DC. Founded in 1751 in the Province of Maryland, Georgetown predated the establishment of the District of Columbia and the City of Washington by 40 years.
I start this walk at the Washington Harbour business center, which sits adjacent to where Rock Creek meets the Potomac River. I continue walking north up Wisconsin Avenue eventually making my way to Dumbarton Oaks Park and Rock Creek Trail.
