I've got to question anybody floating Allar as QB3 and claiming Beck hasn't raised his play since the Ole Miss game.

Beck played a great game against Tennessee and deserves credit for the 4th quarter/OT play against GT but the discussion about QB3 isn't really about who is playing better at the moment, its more about who you'd be excited to work with moving forward. I like Beck but just have some questions about his style of play relative to his physical traits and what the ceiling is for that in the wrong environment.

@KyleCrabbsNFL appreciate the forthright reply! Apologies for not separating my thoughts better -- i *don't* think Allar is QB3. I'm not floating Beck for QB3, just didn't think the comment you made aligned with his actual performance. I *can* see some team having Beck as QB1 -- he's far more advanced cerebrally, if less gifted, and very dependent on scheme. Unfortunately for him, I think most NFL teams are moving away from that QB type and towards dual threats.

For example, I can see the Rams facing a serious dilemma between whether an injured Revel or Carson Beck .. and which is more likely to fall to the top of the 2nd (potentially maneuvering for both).
