I'm happy they charged the father as well as the son being charged as an adult! This child would have turned out this way whether he lived with his mom or dad. He never had a chance with these two as parents.

I understand the sorrow but this is criminal in itself to try a child as an adult. Those who produced guns and lawmakers should be charged, since they could predict the consequences in full capacity. At 14 his development is halfway and I remember still playing with dolls att this age. But he got real guns to play with, which he wouldn't in Europe for instance. He played proud American.

@Gods1andonlyАй бұрын
@@GoogleAccount0 First and foremost at 14 y/o you know right from wrong. Especially when the FBI made a home visit LAST YEAR regarding the son's online threats of a school shooting. AFTER that visit, the father thought it was a great idea to gift his son an AR-15 for Christmas. I'm happy the father is being charged too! With all due respect you really need to gather "all facts" prior to posting on social media. Let him play "Proud American" the rest of his life in Prison! Four people were killed two children will never have an opportunity to attend college, get married or have children. Two adults will never witness their children enjoy those life treasures!
@hnicholeАй бұрын
@@GoogleAccount0 I also don't think this particular child should have jailtime, based on his age and his circumstances. I think this kid needs mental health treatment, not prison time. The dad on the other hand, absolutely lock him up, he literally handed his kid the murder weapon. So irresponsible.

The erosion of accountability, the legal system, parents unable to teach kids courage and how to endure difficult challenges and situations, parents blind bias, social media, video games. I have some questions: The father is morally wrong. Let me say that first. First queation... What laws did the father actually break for the charges he is facing? Second question... If the kid is being charged as an adult, does that mean the father is not responsible for the kids actons? Again, the dad is morally wrong, but in Georgia, it's not illegal to have guns in the house, nor do they need to be stored in a certain manner

If they give these type penalties (house wide) were enforced nationwide, parents would give their bad kids the belt instead of free access to lethal weapons
@BeautyInYOU583Ай бұрын
They would have to drop the belt laws. Parents can’t discipline kids in any way and there for children are now beating up parents, teachers, kids, killing and doing what they want. They allow parents to go in on their children without beating them things would change.
@hnicholeАй бұрын
@@BeautyInYOU583 Don't be dramatic. Parent can discipline their kids perfectly fine without using physical violence. We also don't have any implication that lack of discipline is what prompted this attack; it sounds more like the parents not providing their child mental health treatment and choosing to LITERALLY supply weapons to their teenager, who is at an age where impulse control is low and emotions run high. And how was literally already investigated for threats of violence. It seems like those things are more relevant to the conversation than discipline is.
