Munson truly painted a picture in your head. He was the absolute greatest announcer. Scott Howard learned a lot of Larry, which is why he is as good as he is today.

Everytime i drink i sit and watch this video to reminisce and buddy let me tell you.. we came a long ways. From struggling to beat Tech to a Natty in my lifetime.. Its incredible. I just came across this and watched it 3 times just to listen.....and of course to see the awesome win. Now, I am BAMA fan (love those Dawgs too) but just hearing Larry Munson's voice and his "play by" gave me goosebumps on goosebumps. I honestly believe he had more heart than any other "VOICE" in all of college ball. I also think he had more game knowledge than many coaches. Man, this is one BAMA fan that misses Larry. I believe he is "up above" watching me as I write this. I am positive of that......I just heard him say "my GOD, thank you buddy." Well, I better get off of this now, just got sand in my eyes.
