Ppl were saying the same thing about Texas front 7 and offensive line…and we saw what UGA did. I think UGA pulls it off. Kirby knows Lane very well.

The thing about Georgia is that their margin for error is greater than their opponents. They can make mistakes and can still win games. To beat them teams have to play perfect while Georgia can have three or four turnovers and still recover. You have to beat them all four quarters because of their depth. Georgia doesn’t overreact to being down either because they have confidence that they will comeback. I think after a not so great performance against Florida, Kirby will have them ready and Ole Miss will get the Texas version of Georgia. When Georgia plays teams they feel like can beat them they play with a different energy and aggression than against teams they are expected to beat. it’s gonna come down to the trenches and which Georgia defense shows up. People have to understand and realize Georgia’s offense during this last three years hasn’t been what has won them games it’s their defense. Their offense has always been okay but their defense is their bread and butter. I also think Georgia’s schedule has prepared them for these type of matchups.

As a dawg, Carson Becks decision making scares and frustrates me but he had 3-4 turnovers in back to back games and Georgia won by 14+ points against a number 1 Texas and Florida. Just makes me think if Kirby manages Beck and the defence turns up, Georgia should easily take this. Beck will need to be game though because Ole Miss leads the nation in sacks so under pressure Beck will have to throw the ball away and play for the next down. Sick of him throwing into triple coverage and getting picked off.

Everyone forgets that last year 2 of our starting O-lineman were injured and a 3rd O-lineman got injured on the first play of the game. This O-line is going to look drastically different than last year.

This is a game where Ole Miss needs to take some shots as Kiffin enjoys and if done on opportune scenarios can steal this one from Georgia and this year there is no excuse with the personnel they have. Golding is going to have to get on Beck with some blitz or overload help and cover tight none of that shitty zone crap. Make Beck think quick and we can pickoff a few and keep the secondary effective. Our D line and backers are athletic enough to contain the Georgia ground game.
@victorbernard12562 күн бұрын
Based on how teams looked lately Ole Miss looks better. But UGA comes to play when they’re the dogs. I suspect UGA on D line could take the game over.

Cmon. You can’t compare defensive strategy from other teams to Ga. Ga has uniquely skilled defensive players, and it’s not close. Teams like ole Miss and Tennessee can’t use their normal offensive schemes against Ga.

Georgia will embarrass Ole Miss just like they did last year. These guys are talking about Ole Miss pressure, Georgia has given Beck all day to throw all year. The fact the predictor has Ole Miss favored is a joke. Beat Georgia first then if you want to make them a dog the next season so be it, but they’re favoring teams that haven’t come close to beating Georgia or more importantly BEING Georgia. The ONLY team to beat Georgia in recent history is Alabama. Everyone else needs to STFU.
