The taxi uncle's choice of conversation at the end lol! Don't worry about it dudette, Singaporeans are just amazingly good at talking about bad news without becoming anxiety stricken! I actually find it impressive and I'm trying to study how they got that way. They're straight up just like "yeah it sucks, but what the heck 🤗"

My dad works part time at the airport and canceled this week's job schedule due to the surge in imported cases and airport cluster... His job requires him to be in contact with passengers. His health status puts him at a higher risk hence we feel that money can always come later but our health can never be taken for granted!! Hope the situation improves soon🙏🏻

Nobody knows whether these recent outbreak is due to a new variant which compromised all the vaccines and test kits. In any case, it may not be the virus that really kills the victim but has been proven now to be the body own immune system going into overdrive and fuelling a self induced cytokine storm that caused the pneumonia and destruction of lung tissues and organs that eventually caused the mortality. When you wish to go to crowded places and for the sake of people at home, studies have shown that it would be a good idea to consume Virgin Coconut Oil which has been proven to be effective for killing the Covid-19 virus and reducing viral load from 60% to 90% including variants. It may save your parent's life or eradicate the virus that causes asymptomatic shedding of deadly virus fragments. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKK6oaGggp2kr8U

In San Diego. I’m fully vaccinated, have been for a while and have been able to do some things like eating out and being outside without a mask (although I still prefer it with ppl around). But the USA struggled and we lost so many ppl so it’s better to be in a situation where that wasn’t the case. You’ll pull through especially if it means you’re safer.

I was really hoping to finally go on my postponed exchange semester at NUS next semester, but I've honestly lost hope for it now with these stricter restrictions. This sucks so much... I'm in Stockholm, and it's of course very bad right now, but more and more people are getting vaccinated and winter is over so hopefully things will change for the better soon. I'm wishing that for all of us. 💕

Stay strong everyone in Singapore, you can do it!, it’s a very different situation where I am in Australia 🇦🇺, you don’t even have to wear masks 😷, the last COVID-19 case in the town I live was 13 months ago!, all the best.❤️

But Sydney just has an untraceable case. This Covid thing is stillv ery fluid, it can flow either way, rise and ebb. This won;t stop unless the international community (in other words, esp high risk countties get their shit together and "flatten the covid curve"...otherwise low risk countries will get it seep through our borders from time to time, sporadically.

Your videos always make me miss home so much, thank you for showing me what home looks like in times like this when it’s been almost 1.5 years since I last been back home. Nice video. I have run along Robertson Quay, Clarke Quay, down the river over the helix bridge through Gardens by the Bay across the bridge past the golf course and down the East Coast Parkway and back many times. I am not in Singapore at the moment, because of the quarantine rules. Eventually. Until then, I am running the mountains in the USA.

Try looking at various furniture websites for ideas on how to make your bed look nice! You can get plenty of ideas say from IKEA, Crate and Barrel, etc. just from their product photos. And I totally agree with the warm lighting, though it's good to have bulbs that can switch between the two since cooler lighting is better for work and cleaning.

I have been dreaming about going to a certain Design school in Singapore (FZD SChool) and this is why I immediately recognized the building you went into. I have been looking at the street on Street view for years and the school is right above the Gym. If you would one day after boxing film the foyer of the school I would probably cry. The new generation of game artits is training upstairs when you do too.

Hey Georgia! Glad to see that you are doing well, no worries the cafes are all still open here so thank goodness for that! Robertson Quay is pretty popular for running/walking, as the river leads all the way to Marina Bay area (MBS, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Barrage etc) so it's a very scenic route. Take care!

Going good, from Aus but living in Sg for the past 3 months 🙂 Was so, so fortunate to only have to serve SHN until negative test (literally like 6h). Was kinda hopful might be able to visit home/have family visit by the end of the year or early next year...but tbh looking at things now feels like this pandemic is going to drag on so much longer...feels like at least another year and who knows maybe 2 or 5. Sounds a lot I know but with all the variants, the challenges of vaccine distribution, etc etc just seems like actual 'normal' is a long long way off. Personally just hoping restrictions here open up abit by Aug so I can have a little party for my 30th bday 🥳😛

What's the status of vaccinations in Singapore? We are easing up here in US due to vaccinations. I know Singapore is close to major outbreaks in India, Thailand and Indonesia so yeah it' super dangerous unless the pop is mostly vaccinated.
@BoStark3 жыл бұрын
Good question.
@hilmir3 жыл бұрын
unfortunately, the recent spikes in Singapore have been due to import cases. the government has been too lenient in letting in travellers from India, and currently most of the new cases are identified as the variants from there. prior to this, there was no local community spread for months. so vaccination rollout has started, beginning with the elderly but there were also cases of infection in the vaccinated. the tried and tested precautionary measures still stand, whether one has been vaccinated or not. better to be safe than sorry.
@callmecelll3 жыл бұрын
A few fully vaccinated frontliners (doctors, nurses, airport workers) have contracted the virus given their high risk environment. Though it's not alot of cases, we are a small country and have limited resources hence we have to have stricter restrictions now to prevent another outbreak. Vaccinations here is starting to roll out, vaccination centres are almost full but not many of us (the younger generation) are vaccinated yet.
