When we first met Changli, she had no qualms about heading towards her death. She didn't care if she lived or died, heading into Hongzhen where time was messy so her lifespan would've been cut even more short than it already is due to her constant Overclocking when she was younger. The message Fuling receives from Rover at the end, where you might accept your death, but people around you love you and want you to live. That message is for Changli as much as Fuling, and Changli starts taking it to heart.

@@Etherwinter agreed 😭 I think seeing her life through the sonorosphere as well as achieving her masters wish really reminded her that there are people who want her to live around her and that she isn't that same girl she once was! Such an amazing character!!

Changli really is such a strong character. Probably my favorite in Wuwa by a wide margin. When she talked about her dream of creating a peaceful world I started tearing up given that we know she personally experienced the opposite of that while trying to survive on her own as a child. Also wanted to shout out how well her Masters voice was VA'd this quest. Top tier wise old man vibes

Great analysis as always Ms. Georgie! I do love the balance regarding the focus as well. I do love when we learn a bit about the rover most of the time but not to the point that the Rover overshadows the characterization of the character. I did enjoy Changli's quest more than Camellya. But probably because I'm not fond of the character trope of Camellya but I appreciate that they added such polarizing and uncomfortably wierd and creepily obssessive character. I usually don't watch playthroughs but I always watch yours cause you focus on the story and provide great points and criticisms.

@@hijodelsoldeoriente yesss absolutely!! I think these character quests are the time to learn about these characters and we have the main story to focus on rover. I don't mind learning more about the rover ofc but the main focus should definitely be on these characters first which this quest did perfectly! I also enjoyed this quest more than camellya's but I think similarly I prefer changli to camellya as well. I loved this quest, it was great! Tysm for watching :) I hope you enjoyed :D

What we Rover talked to Fuling and Wuli at 1:37:30 is also what we want to say to Changli, and Changli knew it well (you can see her face expression changing mildly) There are many details in this story quest

all others are good/interesting and emotional in their own way though I think I already suggested painter lady und the lady in black before but even despite that yinlin's would be my suggestion anyway - cause it is rather interesting and connects to "topics" we already had and iirc it was my first character-quest in the game plus great design and va^^ - and the game designer team seems to know what they did in the quest too *eg* but did you say 4 left? yinlin, zhezhi, and then general/lion troupe/scientist or is mr science not available anymore with 1.2 gone?! mfg Olli

I'm not sure if someone has mentioned this yet, but Camellya's normal attack mode is better for single target damage, and her alternate attack mode is better for group damage/ad clear.

I know what you mean about rover being present too much in character story quests, I get why people might not like that. I personally love learning more about rover and seeing them interact with the playable characters. Compared to this other game Genshin, where character story quests revolve around random NPC's for 80% of the time, Wuwa just feels a lot better so I don't mind it as much as others.

@@hanbell3680 I think this quest had the perfect balance, the way I see it, this game is not just about the rover so while it's important to learn about the rovers history, we also want to learn about the different characters in this universe too. So having this balance of this is the rovers history with this character plus this is who this playable character is and their growth is a good balance. Considering we also have main story to learn about rover, it's nice to let other characters have the limelight for once haha. Oh I agree about the genshin character quests 😭😭

Yeah at the end of the quest, when Changli just sits at the pavilion with the board waiting to play, it was a perfect photo op, especially at the right angle during sunset or sunrise. I wish you can replay the quest on the same account for sentimental reason.
