I would like to take this moment to talk about the designs and symbolism of the Magical Girl abnos because they are super cool. Each one’s design is a mix between one of the 4 face cards from a Tarot Deck and one of the 4 Suits from a Poker Deck The King from Tarot and Diamond from Poker become the King of Greed The Queen From Tarot and the Heart from Poker become the Queen of Hatred The Knight from Tarot and the Spade from Poker become the Knight of Despair The Page (old name for servant) from Tarot and the Club from Poker become the Servant of Wrath. The Jester of Nihil combines similar themes, only instead pulling from the “wild card” from both decks The Fool from Tarot and the Joker from a Poker deck becomes the Jester of Nihil. Furthermore, the corruption of each of the magical girls oulls from the idea from tarot of how cards can be both upright or reversed, with the reversed version usually being a corruption of the meaning. In the lore, The Jester of Nihil is what forced the magical girls to unhappy endings which relates to The Inverted Fool representing being exploited or manipulated. Another detail I would like to point out is the specific mention of the dog in the Jester’s lore. In Tarot, The Fool is always accompanied by a dog, the dog represents The Fool’s moral compass and warns The Fool of incoming danger. The lore for the Jester of Nihil specifically mentions that the dog is no longer around. Combine this altogether and we get the full meaning of the Jester of Nihil, a version of The Fool that has given up on morality and intentionally exploits and manipulates others into unhappy endings.

To further go into your comment, here are the respective Tarot Cards for each of the Magical Girls. The Queen of Hatred has to by the Queen of Pentacles. When a card is upright, its energy is free to manifest. Its qualities are available and active. When a card is reversed, its energy is not fully developed. It may be in its early stages, or losing power. Which is reflected in the fact that she puts her all into fighting evil, and when she loses her purpose, she goes berserk. The Servant of Wrath is the Two of Cups. When upright, it signifies a balanced partnership. Or a mutually beneficial relationship. Reversed means that there is an imbalance. Signifying how the Hermit takes advantage of her and betrays her. The Knight of Despair is three of swords. This one actually has a negative meaning when upright. It represents sorrow, anguish, heartbreak and helplessness. When reversed, it represents new growth and things aren’t as bleak as one may think. Which is pretty self-explanatory. The king of greed is the king of coins. Upright represents as taste for sensual delights and earthly gifts. And the reverse of it is someone who has a huge EGO and must not be crossed. Now finally and predictably, the Jester of Nihil is the Fool’s Arcana. 0. Reversed, the Fool represents the lack of self-reflection and understanding, which hinders you on your difficult trek in the adventure we call life. Upright, the fool embraces the complexities and challenges of life and does not hesitate to face them head on.

Man, the fact that all of the magical girls decide to aid you in saving roland from taking the path they themselves took is so cool and heartwarming, i love this realization, probably my favourite together with hokma and chesed, but you still havent done that one so dont worry about that one. Also, congrats on meeting nihil! Shes the last member of the magical girls and also the strongest of them,who was also supposed to be one of the "Boss" abnormalities in lobotomy corp together with you know who, but wasnt added due to magical girl of wrath being in another facility, shes the one that first corrupted the magical girls to become into what they were, i wont say "now are" cuz this realization also helped them overcome their corruption
