My thoughts on the latest Acqua di Gio, Does it match the greatness that came before it in Profumo? Or is a swing and a deep blue miss?

Yup agree, I've had samples of numerous niche frags and all I can say is many many times they're not worth the money and the smell can be too polarising. Don't get me wrong, some niche frags are awesome but way overpriced.

Not surprised at all! Been rocking this now for almost a month and it smells incredibly good, definitely more mass pleasing than Profumo 🔥 Absolu has been my compliment magnet so far, but Profondo could be on the same level

Great review mate 👍 I actually like this one a lot, much more than Profumo! No compliments yet (almost impossible to get compliments during these times), but I'm 100% sure that this will get more compliments than Profumo

I strongly disagree with this review. To me it just smells like a stronger version of the original ADG. It should have been called ADG Intense! I also get less citrus opening than described, and I don't think it smells at all like Blue de Chanel

I had my girlfriend test all my ADG frags and she picked the profondo sample over my profumo and essenza bottles 😂🤦‍♂️ I still enjoy smelling niche fragrances, but I see those as more of an art form nowadays. If I'm out n about and just want to smell nice, I'll put on a mass appealer. For example, I love tobacco vanille, but I've been told I smell like someone's grandad... not really the look I'm going for.

Yes this doesn't smell like BDC or Sauvage, not at all however imo those 2 are more interesting and smells better than Profondo. Don't get me wrong Profondo is nice but I just think Sauvage and BDC have more depth to them. Profondo is basically the modern version of the original ADG, that's pretty much it.

Personally, I like Profumo more, but nevertheless, I also appreciate Profondo - a pleasant scent. In terms of performance, I can definitely say that Profumo has better projection and longevity, and I must state that I am using an old 2017 bottle. I make this clarification because it is said that the new batches are different, probably because they have been reformulated.

Even reformulated, Profumo has good performance. Profondo is nice, it's sweeter and less aquatic, though its performance is not as good. I would definitely wear this to office and dates. Weaker projection makes it appropriate for that.

Since this one is "just another blue fragrance" then I guess the real question is: how does it compare to bleu de chanel and savauge? Is profundo worth buying over other "blue fragrances?"

Put it this warm. It's better smelling than Sauvage and performs better than Bleu de Chanel. I'd recommend this for days and Profumo for nights and both are office friendly crowd pleasers. Also with thse options available there is no reason to ever wear the 25 year old original ADG ever again.

Between Profondo, Sauvage, Dylan Blue, and BDC I personally would buy those 3 over Profondo. Don't get me wrong Profondo is nice and quite different to Dylan Blue and BDC but to me it's just a modern take on the original ADG. If you love the ADG though, by all means buy Profondo.

Hey Georges. Shame you don't like this one. I think it's very nice. I was afraid it smells similar to Office but to my nose it doesn't at all. I don't even smell the ambroxyn (ie blue fragrance). This Profondo definitely has the Adg DNA. Actually it just reminds me of the original Adg but just stronger. Similar to the Adg I has back in 2008. I really like it. It's great I am very happy I chose it over Profumo it smells more fresh. And it doesn't remind me of Sauvage or Bleu Chanel. I don't smell any ambroxyn. I do smell it heavily in Sauvage and Office though. Overly happy with this. Great 2020 release

Yeah Profumo and Profundo are both sexy panty droppers. Eros is for teenagers and Versace Man is for thuggy guys that buy bargain store fragrances. These fragrances are like Sexy, classy looking businessmen like say Don Draper in Mad Men.

Jeremy apparently offered Profundo as a replacement for the discontinued Essenza, but you are 100% correct that it's the same formula as Office for men. Maybe a bit watered down, but nonetheless still Office for men.

When You sprayed the perfume on the hand and then rub on the other hand I knew that it is very wrong 🧐😱😩😳, I mean very wrong . No its not to the Average joe who just wants to smell Good day to Day this is a Absolute Banger of a Scent .. George Nose is a Little more seasonsed so this Fragrance has no place in his Collection really . But like I said this is a Very Pleasant scent and to the Average Joe this has a place somewhere in his or her collection maybe even Signature scent
