I understand having a goal. I hope she gets it there. But my personal opinion, I'd rather she got it done how she is envisioning it instead of possibly letting some things go to make the deadline for SEMA. But then I'm sure there's a lot riding on being there. I can tell from how sick the motor looks that's it's going to be an awesome build

the ADD update to the editing is fun. It's difficult to just take a vehicle apart and put it back together stock. Doing anything custom is even harder and takes time to get it done right. You seem to have a good team working on it. So try not to stress too much but everyone needs to keep pushing. This is gonna be a gorgeous, one of a kind truck.

Great build❤. When I did my Toyota to Gm swap. I had to beet the trans tunnel a lot. They fit tight. What tell you put converter blots in.. pain in the ass..lol. Your killing ..

I've been thinking of doing another build, haven't rolled a MT in almost 30 years, have been feeling the itch. Trying to talk my grandson into building a daily with me. MT is a lifelong addiction. My dream idea is a static slammed(gotta keep it functional), 4x4 geared to run AWD, first gen forerunner w/removable top with a CAT engine tucked in it.

Why not just run a Toyota trans ?

More reliable for an automatic transmission. The Toyota automatic’s tend to be a bit faulty from my experience. Also for the power etc it will be a bit more durable
