Took about 4 videos, but yours described the differences in the simplest manner. Thank you!

Thank you sir. It was indeed simple and easy to comprehend.

In short, Geosynchronous= period of revolution same as earth=24hrs; Geostationary= special case of above, where orbit is alined with equator

dont know if anyone cares but if you're stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all of the new series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend recently xD

How to install geo stationery satellite ?

Any one lives in the center/core of geo? To all people on earth surface...Moon's period is Lunasynchronous = 27.. days, Sun's period is Apollosynchronous =365..days for Geo + Luna(?) to orbit ?

No he's writing on glass and then, "mirroring" the video like any smart phone does. LMFAO

So, Moon is naturally geosynchronous to earth? And though sun does not orbit earth but it makes analemma as shown en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analemma. And moon also makes this analemma, right?

Hi Divya. The Moon is not geosynchronous to the Earth - it takes about 27 days for it to go around the Earth. To be geosynchronous it would have to go around in 24 hours. If that were the case, then it would always be visible to the part of the Earth it was over and never visible on the other side of the Earth. Which would be a bummer for those who enjoy a nice bright full moon!

@@tomjohnson8986 ok, thanks so much for the response. makes sense. :)

Remember what the presenter said at the end. Both 'synchronous' and 'stationary' have the SAME period. 1 day. So clearly moon's period is more than one day and cannot be 'geosynchronous'.

No, the moon is, "tidal locked".

Could you not take the definition a step further and say geosynchronous could also be that a orbiting mass could have let's say 3 orbits in the same time as 1 rotation thereby being synchronized 3:1.
