OK so the only way the image gets geotagged in the camera is if it down loads an image to the phone? Is there a way to not download images to phone and still be geotagged? I'll end up with way to many pictures to have to delete from my phone.

Fantastic, I'm going in vacation over seas and I need this capability. My d7000 I had an external device but Z6II doesn't have that ability. Getting same capability from phone should be ok.

Thank you for explaininig this feature. Very helpful and to the point. Bravo! A suggestion for you about preventing your phone from dying. About 3 years ago, I purchased a battery that served as a backup battery when the internal phone battery ran out of juice and it also protected the phone from inevitable drops. A word of caution before buying one from an online source, check the reviews and BBB website for complaints. About a year ago, I purchased a replacement and it had a problem that was never resolved. I did get a credit on my credit card and it was then that I checked for reviews about the company I dealt with. They had the worst BBB rating.

Great and easily understood video. It doesn't seem to work with the z6ii as imported images and converted to tiff in order to be read by Lightroom.

Hey.. step by step.. how to send GPS data from snapbridge to my 1000's images? Do you have any link "how to"? connecting snapbridge is not an issue, but the way I can see on my computer monitor where the heck such and such image was taken - is....Bluetooth, wifi. does not matter.. I have to have GPS location written into ma EXIF on each, every each of my any image. Tnx

Does snapbridge send auto adjusted UTC (time zone) data from your phone as well with the GPS data, or the file stores only the UTC data based on your settings manually entered in camera.

Sorry, I am not sure I follow, you start the SnapBridge on your iPhone before you take photos? Does the phone need to be in active mode? or you can pocket it?

Doesn’t work for me. I don’t get the option to change geo tagging accuracy. Just break wifi connection? Nikon did a terrible job with this.
