It's incredible how you have something to say about almost every place in the UK... “I've been driving down this road“ “my dad used to work there“ “I went to a concert there“ . I'm German and I can't relate at all to 99% of the villages and small towns in Germany :D. I know France quite well though because I also do a lot of bycicle tours (but never in Germany..)

I think you’ve been quite fortunate landing in places with town border name signs. I must’ve done dozens of uk challenges, and only one or two towns have had name signs. Great video, I’ve learned a lot about how each challenge can be done.

very impressive, i love all the geoguessr videos and even sporcle but with these uk ones your extensive knowledge of the uk and england is really cool. that last one had me biting my nails.. the first 2 were so fast

It's not difficult. Chinese ones have the most lines and look the most complex, and majority of lines used are straight. Japanese characters have some curved lines too and are less complex. Korean characters have lots of small circles and semi circles, and probably the least complex looking of the 3
@lauraqueentint6 жыл бұрын
its easy. Japanese is more rounded characters with some kanji mixed in sometimes. Korean is more squared but similiar to japanese. Chinese characters are usually square with lines and strokes, very similiar to kanji, very different from the japanese script.
@jort93z6 жыл бұрын
If you have a single word you can often not differentiate between chinese or japanese at all. But in most cases its easy.

For UK attempts it is worth doing a little looking into telephone number area codes. Apart from a handful of oddities, they follow a fairly common alphanumeric system. But maybe that is from years of working for BT!

You could try to do a "10 state challenge", basically a 10 country challenge except it's on the USA map and you have to guess the correct state.

I think you need to be yolo-ing your guesses a bit more. You spent probably a minute or more worrying over single digit meters when it really doesn't matter that much
@chandir77526 жыл бұрын
What is the maximum distance you can have that counts as full score on the UK map?
@lewis44026 жыл бұрын
@Genes If you are going for a world record you don't have time to nit-pick over a few metres. You're gonna need a bit of luck, sure you might not get a perfect score every time but when lucks on your side it's going to be fast.
