Honestly this brings back so many memories of the older Gepard. I used it as a tank destroyer by flanking and spanking the sides of tanks. Light tanks/vehicles didn't stand a chance, and aircraft were easy pickings. I loved it so much I tali'd it. Now I'm thinking about going back to unlock this one! Thanks Malzi!

If you want a new tank to do this with, and feel like suffering through a new line - go for the AMX-30 DCA. Such a fun vehicle. I wish the old 8.3 France lineup still existed, easily my best time of fun in WT. AMX-10 RC, AMX-30 B2, AMX-30 BRENUS, AMX-30 DCA. The AMX-10 RC is still my most played tank even after so long (I dont play that lineup ever now)

malzi, for future reference, the default 35 belt can pen a lot of turret cupolas and then frag the turret crew like it’s aphe. i’ve killed t72 turms, m1a2s, and more just by spraying at cupolas.

Absolutely not. None of the tanks higher than 6.7 have any armour. Also every Russian tank on its br has massive higher penetration and also armour. And a Russian mid also is nearly as fast as German mids

It was developed in the 1960s, fielded in the 1970s, and has been upgraded several times with the latest electronics. The gepard is literally the German version of the Zsu 57 2 with a faster fire rate of over 1100 rpm than just 120 rounds a minute but compromises with a 22mm nerf so instead of 57mm is 35mm
