Quick tip, you can skip adding your switches to the "inputs" and just add them into the Mixer. Saves time. You only need to add them to inputs if you want to modify the input, like adding expo to a stick. Good Vid!

Great video. My Geprc tinygo 4k should arrive in a couple of days. I may get someone to help me out and try these mods. I have XL hands and would like a nicer controller that can handle more than 1 drone - already looking at something a little more powerful for outdoors in the future.

I have seen other receivers that can come with the plug installed on them so I believe one of those would work without any soldering

There are a couple different ones depending on which tinygo you have. You can find the specific CLI dump on geprc.com in their support/downloads section

Do I need to download anything to my radiomaster tx16s using that radio protocol I just got that radiomaster protocol and it says d8 and then it has D16

You shouldn’t need to download anything else for it to work. Once you have the frsky protocol selected, you should be able to change d16 to d8 and you’ll be all set

Oh I will, but a $16 receiver that’s compatible with the internal module on the tx16s seemed like a good next step. It’s expensive to buy all the good stuff all at once lol

I did a range test and was able to get a little further than 500 meters or 1500 feet. With optimum antenna placement and conditions I would expect to get about 1 kilometer of range
