This fight is so horrifying. Pinocchio killed a physical god, yet the Nameless Puppet proved too much for him. If he'd lost, it probably would have gone on a feral rampage and killed ungodly numbers of people.

Lies of P actually refers to Lies of Paracelsus, who is giangio posing as the pharmacist, lying to us and the people from the start. The Name pinocchio is never mentioned.

this is the boss I like the most in this game. he's looks cool(the humanoid swordsman with good-looking sword and flashy moves) and terrifying at same time (he's also looks like a bloodstained reanimated-corpse). something that make him more special than the other final bosses in souls game is, he isn't an old man who fight us in their weakest condition, he isn't the stranger to us . he's even more than someone we know (which is already special for souls game. that's why I love gehrman). he's literally us.... our dark reflection. our future self if we summit to geppetto's request. it's make our fight with him is more important and more personal. you didn't fight for put the Old man out of their misery. you didn't fight with a stranger that barely related to you. you just fight with yourself.... fight for your future, your freedom. that kinda unique and beautiful if you ask me. P.s it's kinda shame that you got this ending... I mean, it's have a similar ending to this. But in that ending, geppetto isn't talking bad to us... he's just says " I'm sorry, my son" and pinocchio also looking sad when geppetto gone as well. which is make this scene more depressed than this ending.

the lore build up of gwyn and radagon in elden souls is far better than lies of p or gherman, its more tragic and deeper, and you get much more flavor text lore in game imo.

@@flamingmanure Honestly... We didn't have a personal reason to defeat Rhadagon, we just go there to become Elden Lord because that's what everyone is saying we should do... In Lies of P we have that development in and out of the game, other Souls games, bloodborne and elden ring, is just out of the game. In the execution on this now, i will say it's not bad at all... Still, it can be better but it's already enough as it is

Someone has to explain something to me.... Since Pinocchio and Oz are connected.. I don't understand if the next game from this studio will be only about Oz and Dorothy or will be connected together with Pinocchio as a continuation of the story... It seems to me that they are doing experiments on various fairy tales in the plot

Only ones left are The Scarecrow (Brain) and The Lion (Courage) and who will be The Wizard, Glenda the Good and The Wicked Witch

Uncertain as to the exact criteria, but the third ending expands on the good ending with additional scenes. Spoilers, I suppose! ... ... ... Hopefully people are gone now. Generally helping people changes you physically, mostly the hair and eyes, or at least I'm guessing that's what eventually triggers it by "becoming more human". Saving Sophia is very likely part of it too as "two" scenes involve her. The other added scene is just a triumphant look over Krat and a butterfly flying by.

We need for them to find a way to connect Alice from Alice in the Wonderland as well. This has potential to be crazy good using the old fairy tales with a dark twist. At least it already has more narrative direction than what we generally get with the Souls Series (I love FromSoftware, but I like this more direct approach from Round 8 too).

I didn't even realize the whole wizard of oz reference nor references with Dorothy, tin man with no heart, and all that till after everything and even then someone mentioning it... only then did it come to me. Especially with the red shoes of Dorothy. Does make me wonder which ending they may go off of for the next one, then, and will we know which one it is? Afterall the nameless puppet is sort of like the scarecrow who wanted a brain (least now anyway) the person/puppet you play is the tin man with no heart (except you may or may not have one depending on the outcome chosen from this game). And I dont believe we see the lion who wants to be brave or have bravery... or at least I haven't since I haven't played it myself. Though, this all honestly feels like a Wizard of Oz AND Alice in Wonderland kind of scenario. Everything just lines up like that anyway.

Imagine not being able to connect the dots that the one Paracelsus was talking about was the girl presented in the following cutscene, and that her name is Dorothy? It baffles me haha. Not knowing about the Magic of Oz is one thing I can get behind because it seems people aren't learning much about literature these days (even the classics), but can't say the developers didn't try to make it clear with all the clues you pointed at.
