You do know that for Godzilla to appear they needed to pay a license to Toho to use him right? That's why in the end of the trailer of the game there wasn't any Toho logo and why it's more focused on Kong , because they don't need to pay money to use Godzilla and Kong it's easier to use

This must’ve happened before GxK but after GvK. Tiamat is alive and not in Artic waters. At the end, they’re even seen swimming in the ocean to another place. They probably stayed in the arctic after the events of the game, leading to Tiamat dying protecting her daughter from Godzilla.
