Have been watching the series Where I was in 9/11 for a few days and find most of the stories very interesting, until I decided to watch this one. Not even 2 minutes into the video, I was already bored and annoyed 🙄

I didn't care for Geraldo Rivera to begin wit but after watching 6:04 seconds of this I had to stop it because I needed a break from his me, me, me commentary. I didn't like how he mentioned being in this place, this place and this place in the Middle East and "every crap hole in between". That definitely highlighted his bigorty and racism that has only gotten worse over the years. He talks of himself as if he is a hero and sacrificed so much. Poor Geraldo had to sacrifice so much and get rid of his house in Malibu. I also don't like how they call his assignments in war areas that he threw a hissy fit to be able to go, deployments as if they in any way compare to the men and women who were being sent over there to die. "I've lost so many airmen, soldiers, sailors, marines" You've lost? He is just the victim isn't he. He even thinks he is a victim because he wasn't allowed to get behind a camera on 9/11. He spends more time talking of the announcment of Bin Laden being killed than on actual 9/11. He barely talks about 9/11 because that isn't interesting or talkworthy for him because he wasn't involved by being on the air. He is disgusting. He een has the nerve to talk about HIM spending 10 years chasing Bin Laden. He somehow made that all about him. "What happened to me" on 9/11? He was the acvocate for our military? I guess he is his own hero

After 14 minutes of him talking about him and everything else but what he was being interviewed to talk about they finally manage to try and bring him back to the twin towers. Yet it is again himself he talks about. He's on the water more than anyone, He still doesn't talk about the twin towers. He talks about politics and praises his orange god. He spends his whole where was I on 9/11 talking about everything but 9/11 and it's clear to see it's because he was stuck in CA so he's not interesting in actually talking about that day because he can't make it all about him and how he was dodging bullets and being an advocate for the military.

I've always liked watching Geraldo Rivera for some reason. He has zero credibility as a journalist, but there's something about watching him that I enjoy. I think maybe it's a "hip factor" or something. He hasn't worked for a real news organization since ABC fired him in the 1980's, but he has always remained relatively visible -- for good or bad. Usually bad. The fact that he's a big Donald Trump supporter tells you everything you need to know about his credibility as a "journalist."

He’s actually out spoken against Trump now and MAGA ideology and Fox viewers on Twitter hate him so he’s getting a lot of heat from the republican base. ………To be specific, he is now outspoken against Trump but still likes him as a friend since they’ve known each other since 1976.
