The show was doomed b4 it started. Making book(s) adaptation in form of show is probably easiest task from pov of writing. You have everything written already, you don't need to think on lot, character design, even dialogues if you don't want to. You need to think about one single thing: How to put things from the book on the screen, while having plenty of time on screen due to it being show and while respecting source material. What they did instead? "Let's make adaptation of popular book franchise without giving a shit about what's written in books". If one have this mindset at the beginning, one can't make good adaptation. Honestly? Every person who worked on script, directed or produced this show should be fired and never hired again in movie industry. They had task of adapting extremely popular book serie promoted by even more popular game serie. They had lots of fans b4 even beginning to care about promoting show. How the fuck one screws up sth like this?It's like screwing up Harry Potter product back when I was in jr high school and selling literally anything with HP logo on it was guaranteed success. Literally.

ehh, never know. lets be honest wasnt that good to begin with sadly. season 1 was a jumbled mess. so much time jumping, no text to say when, where u were. no context wtf anything on screen was about. no1 seems to age almost. so yea....... season 2 was better. 3.. i still had no clue who was good guys or bad guys only to build up to season ending battle that aagin i had no clue who if any to root for. other than 3 main chars. no one held any value to me alive or dead. they killed off this mage they built up in the clip as if he nothing. after huge build up. when geralt already lost to the other big bad guy... he just nonchalantly kills this one..... my point is this series is just an utter mess. wrtiers, directors probably producers all need reading lessons, and to be fair sent to salt mines. Cuba, venezuela etc.

Lord of the rings proved its not so easy to adapt paper to screen. and make it enjoyable.
