I remember this is the movie that got me hooked on Jerry Butler. While years later everyone was going off about Dracula 2000 I was like watch Attila. I was thinking about this the behind the scenes on this movie. The good old days when USA made good movies.

@@d.b.4201 Yeah me too! Hes south Hungarian too so he has this really thick accent with a very low baritone voice. As soon as I saw him and he spoke to me pfff... it all over for me. I just lost my mind. Like Gerald butler, he looks best with long dark hair to complement his piercing blue eyes. I hope and pray that you will have your dreams fulfilled one day too. And a man that resembles a young Gerald butler will come into your life.

Actually this is one of the most underrated movies in Gerard Butler´s filmography, and is pretty unfair, because he plays the role of Attilla with the same spirit than in 300, so brave, strong & determined to make his dream come true as a king. The best part of this movie is when Attila visited Rome, there he saw all the technical advances of the roman civilitation that historically obsessed him so much, and which is reflected in this movie, and many aspects of personality as brother, husband, father that we didn´t see before. i´m affraid that Attilla has not been very well portrayed in the cinema until this movie.

His growl in his throat when he says he had a way with women! He was almost embarrassed to say it! So cute! But man! Gorgeous!!! Only topped by Elvis! (In my book) Although, Billy Wirth, as Corby White in a western movie, "Its a Good Day to Die" comes close! Mercy Billy made a handsome Native American!! 🥰

He was so young and this movie I didn't even know this existed until I saw this on a amazon prime. But he looks so happy in this one and it was exciting watching this especially when he had no problem with all the stunts and you look pretty good. And I was only 15 in 2000 when this came out and he was only 29 or 30 but he looked pretty good. This is one of the good movies but it was sad at the end
